Hi,

Does anyone have a double jogging stroller that they love? I am not interested in the BOB strollers. My girls are 3 and 4 and I need something that can tolerate their weight and I can easily manage. Thanks! We like to take long walks.

Maybe I'm just not getting it, but why a stroller for 3 and 4 year olds for walks? Unless you are going on a LOT longer walks that are normal for us, the girls should be walking too.

City Elite by Baby Jogger! Love this stroller! My almost 4 year old fits nicely in it and I have a little heavy one year old. I bought mine from Baby Center online and paid half the cost because I bought last years model. We are totally happy with it. Turns on a dime and is well worth the money.

I have a Schwinn double that has been passed on for years (we are the third family to use it) and I love it. It is not as fancy as some of those out there, but it's obviously very durable and it has everything I need - baskets underneath that are a decent size, pocket on the back and, crucial in my opinion, locking front swivel wheel. I did buy an extra canopy because the canopy is short and I was putting my baby in there, but for 3 and 4 year olds you may not need it.

The other thing I like about my Schwinn is that it is pretty easy to manage (the double Schwinn is easier to fold and lift than my single BOB!) For a double it is pretty easy to handle. I used it for running and walking and the two moms before me used it mostly for running. It has definitely lived a long life (the first family to use it has girls that are now 10). The newer versions look very similar, from what I can tell, and probably have even more features. And, by the way, it is one of the better priced strollers out there. (this is the newer version of what I have: http://www.mytoybox.com/SC905.html)

Good luck!

city mini elite by Baby Jogger. It is sturdy and is amazing. A little pricey, but well worth it. It also folds up easily and folds up as small as they come.
