I looking for any type of information about government programs that will help you pay daycare based on income. A friend told me about such programs that are out there that will help you but she did not know the name or phone numbers to these places. If any one knows anything plz tell me!

N.,

I know that there are several places out there that help with child care, but the only one that I have deal with is CCDS and their waiting list and eligibility phone # ###-###-####. They might be able to help you. They go by your income and I know that you need to be either in school or working. Hope that helps.

I believe the Texas work force offers to pay for gas, and daycare so that you can look for work and even when you start working.

Hi N., I too wish I could be of more help, but like the other lady said, CCDS is your best option, but their waiting list is long. Have you reported your ex to the attorney general's office?

I know there is a Head Start program..or its called Parent Child, Inc? I'm not sure what the age requirements are. I think they are free though. I have seen a few of them on the NE side of town but I know they are all over SA.
