My request goes out to the all the great "M.'s" at Mamasource. My family and I are in need of a rental home. Problem: We have a 6 year old large breed dog that I have had since he was 7 weeks. We have been refused a few times because of him. My husband is now "threatening" to have to give him up if we cannot find something. I cannot let him go. He is a great dog & not destructive. Does anyone out there own rental properties or know someone who does that would be willing to give us a chance? A little about us, we are an honest hardworking family who would love to be able to keep our "whole" family together when we move. Thank you.

Where are you located and where do you want to rent? I am a Realtor with Baird & Warner (in Glen Ellyn) but if you'd contact me, I can search to see if there are any rental listings where you need to be. I certainly don't want you go have to give up the dog..I LOVE dogs and have 2 rescue dogs. It is very, very traumatic for dogs to lose their homes. Fight to keep him....Contact me...K....###-###-#### (cell)

I am currently living in a rental home and about to move out. When I first moved in I had a puppy and the owners let me keep him in the house. He was to be kept in the basement, I think because he was a puppy. My parents ended up taking him because they have 30 acres and he had more fun there. It might be worth a shot to check with them and see what they think. They have several rental properties. The house I am moving out of is located in Aurora and it is fabulous. The owners/realtors are Larry & Betty Kubiak and their number is ###-###-####. Good Luck!
