The Common Dog in Everett is absolutely fabulous. They take exceptional care of all types of dogs~young, old, special needs etc. We have 2 dogs and have boarding them there for years.

Hi W W,

Where do you live? I know a place in Acton (Great Road Veterinary Hospital) that is really good. If that's convenient, there phone # is ###-###-####.

Good luck,

I know this is farther than you may want to go, but this facility is one of the best. It is called Muddy Creek Animal Care Center. It is in Rowley MA. You shoot up 95 North to the Rt. 133 exit and it is right there. ###-###-####. It is not only excellent in the quality of accomodations, but it is attached to their animal hospital. The hospital is part of the InTown Veterinary group (www.intownmuddycreek.com) which has 2 other top notch hospitals. So they will care for your older animal properly. I live in Reading and I make the hike so I can go away with peace of mind that my elderly pet is taken care of and given medicine the right way at the right time. Hope this helps!

We've used Countryside Vet. Hospital in Chelmsford. They are a state of the art facility that can certainly care for pets that require medical care. http://www.cvhonline.com/ Good luck!

Do you need to board him, or would you be comfortable with someone visiting him at your home? if you need to board him, you can try the Wellesley-Natick Animal Hospital. They're right on rt 9 and the drs are wonderful. Then he's right at the hospital too, in the event on any problem. If you want someone to come to you, we had Jon from Animal's Companion's come and take care of our dogs and he (and his wife) were great. www.animalscompanions.com, ###-###-####. Good luck!
