Yep, but I stopped the traditional ones because they ended up being HUGE and costing me over $700 a book after all was said and done. I moved to www.mixbook.com and I love it!

I like to do it when I find time and feel creative. I'm an artist so for me, it's more about crafting and neat techniques rather than making a 'photo album'. Also takes me a while just to complete a page because I put too much planning and thinking into it.

I started scrapping when I was 22 after my wedding. My MIL got me a wedding book and stickers, paper, etc. I love it! I wish I had more time to do it, but with a busy 2 year old, I don't do it much anymore.

I do and really enjoy it. My son and daughter each get their own books (12x12 - I like the 3 ring binders best as the post ones are hard to open/close and add pages to) and will for awhile. I used to think that I'd just do one for each of them until they were 2 but I like the idea of each of them having 1 or 2 per year of their life. Once they get in school, I may not fill an entire book with 1 year but may have 2-3 years of school pictures and stuff (but only pertaining to the one child). I then have a family album per year (or again if not too many pictures then 2-3 years in one book).

I go 2x a year to my aunt's house with my mom and 10+ other women and we scrap all weekend. In our basement we have a large play area for our children and my scrap desk is right next to it so they can play and I can scrap.

I am a huge fan of chipboard letters, 3 ring 12x12 binders, matting your pictures (increases the depth and look of them). I also journaled a lot while pregnant with both children and continued with their "What Am I Doing" every few months as they have grown up (they are 1 and 3) and sometimes will just do a 2 page layout of the journaling.

I do not have a baby book for my children - instead the scrapbook willl cover all that information :)

I use to! But if you find anyone who does maybe we could start a little group! I still haven't finished my daughter's baby scrap book!

I hate it!! That's why I found a woman at a craft fair that scrapbooks for me. Just a thought: If you really enjoy it and would like to make extra money, you maybe able to start a small business on the side. I love the way scrapbooks look and really wish I liked it, but now I can have the end result without the work.

Hi, I am new here and new to scrapbooking. I have several different books/themes I'm working on at the same time. It sure is time consuming, but kind of fun looking for special decorative things that will match the photo's them. So far I have one for just my son, just me, (as a child & growing up) then one for my parents who have pass on and passed down old photos. (I'm using a early 1900's theme) I have one for my friends, online & off. And one that I named Friends, Lovers and Lunatics lol.. just for random things I might want to remember one day, keepsakes from people, places/things. I'm doing a page with my friends kids, and using cards she's sent me rather than buying a decoration. Like say a tiny flower vase or anything I can cut out and use as a mini-frame. I put cut out fashion clothing for her one daughter and cut out shoes/purses etc and accessories to put random things around the page. They're just coming to their early teens so I now have a place to put things they've made for me in it. Things like that. Email me if you'd like! -K. p.s. Old cards are very recyclable, and can always cut out where it was signed and decorate around it so the memory isn't lost from the cards! :)

Yes. I wish I had more time to keep up with it.

Yup, I'm almost done scraping 2008 and have the first couple of months of 2009 ready and waiting. I really enjoy it, but the pages haven't been as decorative since I am so far behind. I gave up on the big books and just use regular 3 ringed binders and page protectors on 8.5 by 11 scrapbook paper now. We have way too many pictures I want to print to do anything else and as it is I have about 10 feet of a shelf taken up by photo albums.
