Hi, I wasn't sure what type of party you are planning. I have used a few for different party themes in the past. Here are a few that are not too costly. Pronto Catering can do most anything you want. Then there is the Holiday Markets which I believe are in Troy or Royal Oak. Also if you wanted to go with a fun food theme you can always hire a caterer through Leo's or the Honey Tree Restaurants. I don't know a catering service but I have a friend that does catering parties on the side..He's very, very good! He works for Matt Prentiss group restaurants(Deli Unique, Plaza Deli, Tavern on 13) so you might want to check out Matt's to give you an idea of what foods he has cooked. He has worked for him for over 15 years!. Everytime I go over their house he's always cooking for me!...yummy! Why dont yo do it yourself. Have a veggie and fruit tray cut yourself and than get chicken shack to do the chicken and potatoes and coleslaw and you make a big roaster of mosticcolli. That way oudon't spend tha much caterer good one will cost.

I highly recommend Crank's Catering in Macomb County. They did a great job on 2 events I hosted and were reasonable. There is an extra fee that isn't immediately obvious but their staff stay and really help out a lot, so it's well worth it.

I have used Soprano's Catering for a baptism and two baby showers at my house with about 50-60 people. The food was really good. Not sure how much you want to spend, but I I used the drop-off special and it was $9.99 per person for appetizers, salad, rolls, pasta, 2 entrees, 1 vegetable choice, 1 potato choice. If this is out of your price range, you might be able to order something smaller (like just the entrees, or pasta and make the salads and stuff yourself. Good Luck.
