Does Anyone Know Where I Can Find Parks with an Interactive Fountain?

My family have visited Austin and Houston many times and they have some awsome parks with interactive fountians for the kids to play in. I have not however done very much traveling and site seeing in the DFW area but I am planning some playdates for this summer and think that would be a great place for us to go to if there are any. I live in Keller, north of Ft. Worth so I would prefer somewhere around there but am open to traveling a bit too.

Just to add, The children are age 5 and under, and although the places that have been mentioned already sound good, I was thinking more along I guess what is called a sprayground where the water shoots from the ground in the middle of a playground. Do any of these places exsist around here?

What can I do next?

There is one in Grapevine that has 2 dolphins that squirt water out of the top of their heads. The ground around it is slip resistant and so it is similar to the kids running in the sprinklers. They can even climb on the dolphins. Only drawback is there isn't much shade so be prepared with lots of sunscreen!! and don't forget your towels! It is on Dove Road...I think it is called Casey's Clubhouse or maybe Dove Road park (there is also a Grapevine city pool there too, maybe Dove pool?) There is a big water tower right near it and it is part of a park and it is wheelchair/handicap accessible so that is nice too! Just be aware on park part if your little one has wet shoes and run they might fall on the playground portion (mine always does!). The dolpins are on from sunrise to sunset between Memorial Day and Labor Day (or least that is what I was told last year) . Have fun!

There are some great Public pools here in Arlington! The Randol Mill Park had a pool with a great toddler area, and a great older kid area too, it even has a lazy river!

There are several that I know of but we haven't visited them all. One is The Keller Pointe Recreation Center. A few others that I am more familiar with are Chisholm Aquatic Center in Hurst, Bedford's Splash in Bedford and the Recreation Center Pool in Hurst. They have infant splash pools, interactive fountains, larger slides for adults and big kids, smaller slides for the little ones, wading pools with fountains, and lap pools. The size of the parks varies by city and so do the prices for non-residents of the area. There is also a larger facility called NRH20 in North Richland Hills with mostly large slides. The biggest water park in the DFW area is Hurricane Harbor located in Arlington; I haven't been to it in a few years since it is so large, costly, and my children are so young. Hope I could help!

If you're ever in Highland Village there's a fountain at the Shops at Highland Village. Also, Pollo Salsa (restaurant in Flower Mound) has a fountain.
