I read this from the FAQ's part of the mamasource website....

Can I delete my requests?
Part of the idea of Mamasource is that when moms ask and respond to questions on the site, the answers are saved for everyone's ongoing benefit. For this reason, requests are not deleted.

When you make a request, it will go out in that day's Daily Digest email, so you will receive the most answers within the following few days. If you would prefer not to continue receiving answers after that, please fill out the "So What Happened?" section.

This way, when other moms see your request on the site, they will know that you have already resolved whatever your request entailed.

Maybe you can edit the request or type something in the what's happened since the request.......I searched everywhere for a cancel button, but I couldnt find one either.

If you really think it's necessary, you can go to your request and hit 'edit' then just erase it. Is it really that important?
