My husband and I just moved back to the OP area from Tennessee. I am not really familiar with the area because I never lived here. I was wondering if there were any really good doctors for OBGYN care and General care. I am also looking for an exceptional pediatrician. I am the kind of person who asks LOTS of questions so I need doctors that will be patient with me and have the time to talk about my concerns. I DO NOT like doctors that have the in and out in less time than I wait in the waiting room phylosophy. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
We just moved here from New York City. I live in the Orange Park area also and love Orange Park Pediatrics. Its convenient, the doctors and nurses are very nice and personable and they're take their time with you. My kids are at Childtime and when I asked for their recommendation they pointed me to them. The OB/GYN that I go to is Dr. Hyler on Kingsley ave. He is very patient and gentle and his nurses let me ask all kinds of questions. I started going to him in the year 2000 I believe. I had been to many other doctors for what I was told was chronic yeast infections and pain during intercourse that I had been experiencing for about 14 years. All the doctors kept presribing Monostat or offering pain meds., until I went to Dr. Hyler. I had all but given up. He told me that I had endrometriosis. I was suprised because I had three healthy children and had heard that you couldn't have children with this. I always felt great during my pregnancies and after the babies were born, it would all start up again.
He did a laporoscopy and removed the endrometriosis that was there and then I took Lupron shots for 6 months. I've been pretty much pain free since and not one yeast infection. I can't recommend him more highly.

I myself go to Family Practice of Orange Park. It is located of Kingsley. I bring my son to Orange Park Pediactrics. They both have been great so far. I haven't had real long waits like at all the other Dr's I have been to before either. I think my longest wait at either so far from the time I get there to when I see the Dr is probably about a 1/2 hour. The ped's one is also connected directly with Nemours so it's great for us because we have to go there. After our visit with the specialist the info from the visit goes directly to the Dr's office and visa/versa. So that makes it nice not having to wait for the transfer of info. Any other questions I'd be glad to help as much as I can. I'm located in Middleburg as well but I still don't know of many places or people either.
