We are new to Cobb County and need GOOD family doctors, an OB, dentist, eye doc, and of course pediatrician. Any recommendations?
Dr. Avril Beckford is wonderful with my kids. They love her more than any of the pediatricians they saw before in Florida. I can just tell they like her. Also, I saw Dr. Terry Kelly and Obgyn Associates about perimenopause issues. He appeared to be anyalytical in helping solve my problems. He had great manners and put me at ease. I think I will keep him as my doctor. The high recommendations for these practices were greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Hi, I don't know if you've found a doctor yet but I take my son to see Dr. Beckford. She's wonderful and she's one of those few doctor's who isn't trying to rush through the appointment to get to the next patient. The group is Pediatric and Adolescent Center of Cobb. Good luck.
I have a great doctor that's off Windy Hill. Dr. Andrea Videlefsky is with Urban Family Health Care - www.urbanfamilypractic.org or ###-###-####. I had another doctor in the practice but I didn't like him.
I highly recommend my OB who is at Northside. He's with North Atlanta Women's Specialist. They have a website, too, but it seems kind of long...just search for the practice name and it should come up. Anyway, their phone number is Office: ###-###-####. His name is Dr. Arthur Gumer. They do have a location off of Johnson Ferry. I have a friend that sees Dr. Donnelly and likes him.
I can't recommend any of the others because I haven't used them or my luck with dentists and eye doctors hasn't been the best.

Hey T.. I am in Hiram but I go to the BEST pediatrician ever. His name is William Gary Loventhall with West Cobb Pediatrics ###-###-####. He is so down to earth and tells you everything you need to know. I have four boys myself and have been to several different pediatricians and wouldn't trade this guy for anything. The office staff is also very nice. We are looking to move within a year and I told hubby that I would drive a distance to see this doctor.
We also have a great pediatric dentist just down the road from the dr's office. It is Lisa Y. West at Children's Denistry ###-###-####. All my boys LOVE going there. They have tons of video games out from and toys but a nice new office. My older boys have had teeth filled and other things and have never complained of shots or anything. They make everything awesome there.
As far as a ob/gyn is concerned I love North Cobb Womens Health. The receptionist doesn't always remember my name but she knows my face and kids even when they are not with me she asks about them. Dr. Jimenez delivered my last son and it was the best birthing experience I have had yet. I wish she had delivered the other. ###-###-####

Hi T., I agree with a previous poster regarding a pediatrician. We also use Dr. Loventhal at Cobb Pediatrics. He isn't "by the book", he's very down to earth and cares about the kids. I can also give you the number for a great OB/GYN. It is a practice with several doctors but you can choose which one you see for your yearly. OB/GNY Associates in Marietta by Kennestone Hospital ###-###-####. I see Dr. Tackitt, he did my 2nd C-section and has a great personality. Hope this helps. God Bless! N.

he is awesome...I call the office one day when my son was sick with strep after picking him up from school...they saw me on the spot and I was new like you to the area...each time I call them, I get an appointment the same day and get in and out in less than 1 hour....they are awesome....
try this place for your self and mother for your medical needs...it is a place of all females doctors and they are great
