Do You Remember Your First Kiss?

Yesterday I went out with my 13 year old daughter and I start talking to her about boyfriends and how would it be better to wait for when she is older (16) and doesn't have to hide and she could bring him home, instead of just hiding from us and teachers, etc.
Then I told her that the first kiss is something you will always remember and it was special, and that I hope she waited so it couldbe even more special, etc.
Of course she ask me about mine...and mine wasn't "that" special.
The first one was when I was...glup, 13yo. and I went with my aunt for sumer and she took me to a day camp (a week long camp), I saw a boy I really liked but we never really talk to each other, but, he was the first boy that ever open a door for me (lol) and at the end of the camp, we were looking for each other and when we found each other in a empty class room, we say bye and then he kiss me...close mouth.

Then the next boy I kissed was a "terrible" kissers, he open his mouth almost a mile away, didn't use tonge and it was just lots of air, I was like "really, this is it?" lol

Then again, I think we both were new in the "kissing" department and it wasn't until my 3 kiss when I was wowed.

Do you guys remember your first kiss? Did you like it or would you have rather wait and have it with somebody else?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, we hope she waits a little longer before she gets into the roller coaster of boys, but yeah, it is possible it happens before, I just would like her to have a sweet memory of it, doesn't have to be perfect, maybe it will be funny but I hope is special.
Molly, you crack me up, lol, "-I didn't know at that time about french kissing---but I knew it was not normal to lick people"

I remember mine. I was in KINDERGARTEN! lol---A boy I had a crush on and he had a crush on me went to the monkeybars and shared a quick kiss. He was so silly about it and so was I. I think young love is adorable---as far as when I was older and first kisses, ewwww---I remember being kissed by this boy who tried to use his tongue and was licking me! I was so grossed out---I didn't know at that time about french kissing---but I knew it was not normal to lick people. lol

Funny. I remember my first kiss: I was 12, he was like....14 or so. He did that horrible woodpecker kiss (tongue in/out, in/out, straight shot like a woodpecker). I pushed him off because even though I was excited to kiss, I didn't know what he thought he was doing poking me with his tongue-GROSS! Later in life, whenever someone kissed me like that, I'd just bust out laughing, remembering that first kiss. Yucky, but not a bad memory. Just funny.
My husband and I remember our first kiss together vividly, 9 years ago. We were friends a couple years before we kissed, and it was really awesome to both of us. He can even quote our conversation before and after, lol. I can still see him shaking and nervous, and thinking that was so cute. Now, he's all macho and smooth. (Whatever, LOL, I know the truth). :)

CUTE QUESTION!!

Very first kiss ever with a boy... this kid Michael L. lived down the street. I always got his hand me down hockey skates, and his mother cut my hair. He came over one day (I must have been about 6 or 7) and brought me a ring from the quarter machine at Grand Union (I still have the ring!!) and so I leaned over and gave him a smooch on his lips!!

First open mouth kiss... this kid Brian from my neighborhood, happened on my front porch. I was probably about 12. It was a disaster, neither of us knew what we were doing, LOL. He asked me to be his girlfriend and leaned in. We're still friends to this day, but we don't talk about that!

First steamy, omg, fireworks in my head and butterflies in my stomach, every inch of my body lighting up... honestly... on my first 'real' date with my now fiance. Mind you, I was 20-something, had kissed my fair share of guys, but this was REAL. We had met up a few times at bars, with friends, but our first real one-on-one date was what when I knew he was 'the one', just after that kiss. I mean, WOW.

3rd time's a charm as far as memorable kisses, I suppose :)

Do I remember my first kiss? Absolutely! We were vacationing in Florida, visiting my Aunt Ruth. I was 12 and my brother was 15. She took us to Clearwater Beach, which was awesome! My brother and I were bodysurfing and I noticed a boy that looked an awful lot like Bruce Springsteen staring at me. He had incredible blue eyes and his name was Sam and was 13. He first struck up a conversation with my brother and then me. He asked me to go for a walk and we ended up under some pier. He kissed me there. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

As it turned out, Sam was from Illinois and lived about 20 minutes away from me! We met a few times after that and then broke up when the school year started.

My first kiss was with a boy from Church summer camp. He by the way was an excellent kisser, I have NO idea where he learned we were only 13. Of course now he is gay (along with most of my old boyfriends).

But my husbands first kiss with me was wonderful and witnessed by a classmate! We see him at class reunions and always love sharing the story.. I was 15. We had been friends for 2 years and then realized we had feelings. This fall we will have been married 30 years!

Do I remember my first romantic kiss? Yes.
I was 15, he was older (we'd known each other for years) and it was fine.
I didn't end up marrying that guy, but as a first kiss I wouldn't have changed anything.

lol I think my first kiss was when I was like five! But the really crazy thing is that we started to date again when I was thirteen and he became my first real kiss too. Really I think that is the only reason I remember it, because of the irony of it all. I remember the first kiss I had with my husband much more clearly!

First kiss was when I was 14 and his name was Charlie. He had light blond hair and brilliant blue eyes! He was very funny and majorly athletic...he played every sport. We had an innocent 3 weeks of hand holding and kissing under a tree right before school ended! I will always remember him.

~My BEST first kiss was with my hubby. He had taken me out on our first 'night' date (we had gone to lunch 3x before that) when we pulled into my apartment complex and he parked I said 'Thanks, I had a great time' and went to hop out of the car...(playing hard to get ;) he reached over and grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him, he put his hand on my face and gave me a *perfect* kiss! It was ON after that...and we have never looked back!

wow waiting till 16 for a kiss...I was 14 and the whole neighborhood had decided that I was to get over my being a virgin kisser...so the boy I had crushed on Jay (who ended up being my 1st boyfriend, first husband, soon to be 1st ex husband) and his friend were there and I wanted to kiss Jay but he was 4 years older (a senior and i was a fereshman) and wasn't liking how young I was, and I was shy and kept chickening out so I ended up making out with his friend, purely out of educational, learning to kiss purposes...haha....I still see him all the time sce hes my ex's best friend...J. saw him yeasterday when dropping off my daughter....anyway it ended my non dating streak...before that guys wouldn't date M. once they found out I never kissed anyone...apparently that was the thing in our neighborood...the dorky trends you set in highschool you laugh at now...anyway I remember it, it wasn't special...the 1st kiss I had with my ex I remember clearly too....he was the next boy I kissed after swooningg over eachother and waiting for M. to trun 15, 6 months later ...I wouln't stress the specialness so much, my parents did and I felt like I had to stay with my ex, I think its more important at that age to have a few shorter sweet innocent relationships then waiting and making it soooo special and having it set in your head you're going to marry that guy...I don't know I'm going off what I did though.

Ok I would have rather waited! I was 13, shy and dating a popular guy in my school. My best friend told me that he wanted to kiss me at lunch time, but was to shy about going at it....I was freaked and nervous because I never kissed a guy before....I told my best friend ya but if she promised me it was going to be closed mouth. Of course she promised me, and when lunch time came around, found out a little later she had lied. We around all his popular friends and kids at school. They were pressuring us to kiss. Well I puckerd up and he shoved his tounge in my mouth. YUCK! and thats exactly what it was just tounge..eewww So yeah it was embarressing, gross, and humilaiting! What have soo waited for the right time and right person. It would have made the experiance a whole lot better.

My first kiss I was 17. I was terribly nervous and shaky and didn't have a clue as to what to do. I didn't need to wait...I waited long enough!! Funny, I remember my first kiss but don't remember the first time I had sex. Must've been bad. :)

I was in 6th grade - Nathan J. was in 8th Grade... total "ladies man" -Best Dressed, President of his class, captain of the swim team......... LOL
well I had a Huge crush on him and we flirted All the time - innocently but not really ( I think I came out of the womb being Boy Crazy - IF I Only knew then what I know now..... haha- SCHOOL would have been my Top Priority and Not being a social butterfly, boy crazy idiot!!!!)
We were having a chorus event at school one evening, showing off our lack of singing talents to all our parents ~ When my group was done he grabbed me from back stage and whisked me down the empty halls to the secluded Art Room door way and just started "Making Out" with me - tongue, lips, neck, ears.... OMG I still remember how Amazing it was! I credit him with my "Fantastic Kissing Abilities" :-) After that night for the rest of the school year he would come and sneak me out of homeroom ( most mornings) and we'd hide in an empty room 'making out' It was exciting because it was so 'taboo', I guess, BUT being in 6th Grade - I shouldnt have known and Enjoyed how exciting and 'wrong' this was !! HAHAHA
Would I want that for my DD's first kissing experience NO WAY !!!!!! (even tho I dont have a daughter) I wouldnt want it for my DS either.
I think it turned me more Boy Crazy and more OPEN to experience new things...... still.... I dont know if I would change it.
Thanks for bringing up interesting memories !!!!

Then I wasted 4 years with the guy... young & stupid LOL

I had my first "cheek kiss" at 11 years old. I pecked the boy, named Michael, on the last day of elementry school thinking he was going to go to a diffrent middle school than me. I remember I had the biggest crush on him. We ended up going to the same middle school snd got made fun of a lot for the innocent kiss.

My first "real kiss" with a boy named Ben when I was 13. He wss the first boy to tell me I wss pretty, he asked me to the school dance and kissed me during the slow dance. We are still friends today.
