I would love to know your double stoller recommendations. I have a 19 month old and am due with baby in about 3 weeks. I've absolutely LOVED our single Bob and would love a double Bob but was hoping to not have to spend close to $550.
Thank you!

I dont have a favorite, but I got a jeep side by side and I hate it. They can touch each other and all they do is fight. It also barely fits through doorways.

We went from single Bob to double Bob. LOVE it. In fact, we bought something else first and I had to return it and get the double Bob. We bought ours for slightly less on Craigslist. My kids are 4 and 5 and we are still taking long walks in the Bob.

Have you checked Craigslist for a gently used double Bob stroller? I've seen lots on there, in my area at least, for $350 which is half the price of a new one.

I bought a double Bob stroller (at REI during their spring sale for 30% off - it's going on right now!) My first two were one and three years old at the time. Initially I almost had a heart attack from my regret at the price tag but shortly after bringing it home and starting to use it, the only regret I had was that I didn't buy it the moment my second child was born! I have arthritis in my neck and carpal tunnel in both hands and it has been a godsend! It takes little to no effort to push and the best part is that now that my kids are older - 7, 5 & 2, I can take all three of them in the Bob and push them all with no problem! My older kids really like to sit in the foot beds of the Bob. That way they can get in and out much easier. When I'm at the zoo or another place like that, I can push 4 kids in all, 2 in the foot beds and 2 in the actual seats and everyone is happy. I also strap diaper bags and purses onto the back of "Bob" using the buckle that reclines the seats. "Bob" is part of the family! :) It's a LOT of money, but if you're going to use it, like we do, it's so worth it. Now that I only have one little one to push around daily (the older ones ride their bikes or scooters) I decided to get a more affordable single jogger (my regular single stroller makes my carpal tunnel flair up). I'm regretting skimping on the stroller... it's better than a regular stroller but nowhere near as easy to maneuver as the Bob.

Good luck to you in your decision and best wishes for a safe and speedy delivery!

With your first being so young still, I would just bite the bullet and get a BOB dualie. I love mine and my kids are 2 full years apart. It's totally worth it!

LOVE our Grace Ready-to-Grow. It was around $200 and it is great! There are several configurations, so it will literally change as your kids grow. I don't like it for running, but it's great if we take the kids for a walk to the park or on a day trip!

Get a tandem. I only bought one stroller, a Phil and Ted. I love it. It maneuvers great in small areas, and will even go on snow!

My combi is awesome. I had 3 kids use it then passed it on to my friend. It took a 7 year beating and is still going strong.

Whatever you do, do no get a side by side. They are horrible. They do not fit thru doorways and they get in the way of other people.

The double BOB is a side-by-side jogger, right? If so, I would very highly recommend the Baby Trend double jogger, which is around $200. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10927923

I have had mine for about 3 years and LOVE it. I don't know why the ratings on this one are only 3/5 stars, as I have found it to be a great value. My Graco infant seat snaps right onto the frame. Each seat supports up to 40 lbs.

My boys are now almost 4 and 5 (13 mo. apart) and we lived in and LOVED our bumbleride indie twin (we paid 500somthing new in 2009...that was with no access). It's a side-by-side but fit through doorways and has terrain wheels so it's super easy to get around...it did awesome on bumpy, uneven surfaces, we did wooden bike paths, etc. Each seat has totally separate "controls"- recliners, sun shades all way down to the knees, snack trays, etc. Really easy to open and close and locks. It also has deep storage space underneath. We just stopped using it about 18 months ago but it holds up to 90 lbs...my guys just decided they were "big boys" :(
