I am looking for a fun water pad park to take my 2 1/2 year old son to. I live in Queen Creek so Tempe is about as far as I would like to go.

We go to Espee Park in Chandler...it is on Knox Rd. which is between Warner and Ray and McQueen and Arizona Ave. It has a nice playground as well.

There is a great one in Tempe or another in Chandler (Espee Park). Here is an article I bookmarked from AZCentral.com that lists the water parks in the area:

We went to the Espee Splash park last week, and my 2 year old son LOVED it! Its free and in Chandler on Know, which is between Ray and Warner off McQueen Rd. It has lunch areas and a playground, grass, bathrooms, etc. We had fun, if you are looking for a playdate, we love it!

I know everyone will tell you sunsplash and it is a good park. But also check out some of the high school pools. You said you live in QC but the pool at Perry High School looked so nice. I pass it everyday going to work. I would think they might not be as busy as sun splash. Good luck

I am not sure what a water pad park is but Hamilton High School has a small water park with a little kids section that is a lot of fun. It is through the City of Chandler, and you can bring your own food and drink. For a small child and yourself it would cost $2.00. It is south of the 202 on Arizona Blvd. They are also getting ready to open another one near Basha High School. Here is their link for all of their aquatic centers: http://www.chandleraz.gov/default.aspx?pageid=301

Chuperosa is really close to the south 202. It is on Dobson just south of Germann. Lots of fun and free!!

Espee Park is great, too!

There are 3 in Chandler, you can find the cross streets at Chandler's website at www.chandleraz.gov. They also have great pools with wonderful kid areas and it is $0.50 for kids and $1.50 for adults for admission I believe.

Desert Breeze Park in Chandler has a good water pad. There is also a park on Knox Road in Chandler that I can't remember the name of but I believe they have a water pad also. You can also try looking the webiste for the different Cities and search for parks. Enjoy your summer!

There's one at the new San Tan Center - Where the new Dillard's and all those shops there off Williams Field? There's a little playground and a little water pad area there, in the middle of all the shops.

Desert Breeze Park on McClintock between Ray and Chandler Blvd is cool. They also have a train, a merry-go-round as well as tons of things to play on. There is a lake there so your son could feed the ducks. It's by far my daughter's favorite park.

My favorite is Espee Splash pad and Tempe Beach Park. A lot of the public pools are really fun, too, with shallow areas and little kiddy slides. The public pools are everywhere. I hear Hamilton is really nice.
