I am looking for a company to come out and clean my carpet in 3 rooms. We have some pet stains, a water stain, and everyday dirt in our carpet. I have my own Hoover carpet cleaning and it does a pretty good job. However.... I think I am willing to hand this particular cleaning over to the pros. I am requesting some co. who will travel to Arlington Hts. What type of cleaning should I have done?? Stanley Steamer type or the dry cleaning type... are chemicials okay that they use? I've heard of some companies whose products that are not so harsh. I would like some powerful type of machine... not a household looking carpet cleaner... I mean if I am going to pay for a service, I'd like it to be a commercial type cleaner/machine that will really PULL the dirt up and out of my carpet.

YES!!!!! Assured Services is by far the best carpet cleaning company around. They do an extremely thorough job. They have a SUPER powerful truck mounted system that pulls all the dirt, solution and water out of the carpet. They also completely rinse all the solution out of the carpet so there is no residue for children or pets to be exposed to. It's funny that you ask this, because we just had our carpets professionally cleaned yesterday by Sears. The guy they sent out did a great job considering the state of our carpet (trashed by young kids, not pets). If you want more info, you can go to www.searsclean.com. We LOVE Superior Carpet Cleaners ###-###-#### - George Binder. They're in Prospect Heights. Pretty quick service turn around. They get everything out and have pretty save stuff too.
My dad works for Stanley Steemer. They to me are the best...and not because he works there, but because my carpets were literally trashed. The kids even had a bloody nose incident and he was able to get that out of the carpet. If you'd like his name I can send it to you privately. He's really good, and has been considered one of the best. He's even in the video on there online job search...it's too cool! They don't use soap which actual can leave a residue when used, and can attract more dirt. They do a steam clean. He can give you more information if you'd like.
