Do Ovulation Kits Really Work?

When you have irregular periods, ovulation kits are super important for determining when you are ovulating. However, it is crazy expensive to keep buying the throw-away kits in the store. Speaking from personal experience, buy an ovulation microscope. They are less than $30 and can be used every day. I used the Fertile Focus brand and was able to track every single day. The female body is amazing, and your saliva can tell you when you are ovulating. No joke. After several surgeries for endo, I used the "microscope" to track my ovulation and was able to get pregnant when I had a very small window of opportunity. Google it and order one. I promise it is way cheaper and way more easy to use than peeing on a stick. PM me if you like.

I bought a ton of them from the dollar store and just tested every day until it told me I was ovulating. Worked for me.

Years ago, I used Clear plan easy and I know they worked because I had ultrasounds to verify that ovulation was pending.

Yes. Both of my kids were conceived using the LH strips. You don't even have to buy a kit. I used the little matchstick sized strips I bought for cheap off of Amazon, and Dixie cups.

I thought it was helpful.. but only in conjunction with the old fashioned way which is to each and every morning take your temperature.. it's a pain at first.. but since doing that seven years ago, I've continued charting my cycles and it's been helpful to really get a sense of what's going on with my body..
I would use the kit and chart your cycle..
also.. those kits get expensive.. you can find cheaper ones on the net.. they come with "strips" that aren't as fancy.. but still do the trick.. otherwise, depending on how long it takes to get pregnant.. you ll be spending a lot of money.. at least in my oppinion.
