If you cannot drop the extra cash and stay at one of the Disneyland Hotels; which other hotels are decent and aren't a super long walk? I have a 2 and a 4 year old.

What can I do next?

We stayed at the Super 8 and it was okay. The Ramada across the street though is what I would suggest, but I do not know the price. Also what I did was to bring a crock pot to the hotel room to put in a meal during the day, it really helped to keep the costs low.

Disneyland is a great trip and loads of fun!
Oh one more thing I suggest is a website called www.RIDEMAX.com you can create a timeline to REALLY Reduce your wait in line.IT was great for our family and also great reduces the kids' saying "I want to go on THAT RIDE" YOu can easily say...."oh yes, we are going on that ride at 2:00 today!" It really reduces so much of the trouble with lines/etc/

Again, good Luck,

We were just there a few weeks ago and stayed at the Castle Inn. It was clean and very close. It's about a 10-12 minute walk from the front gates. Perfect when you need to go back for naptime, clothing changes etc. Their website is http://www.castleinn.com/ We stayed in the Family Suite because my parents went with us and it was really nice having the two rooms. If you can afford it you may even want to do that so that your son and daughter can have their own room especially if you do go back for naptime. Make sure you look at the various types of rooms they offer. There is a nice variety. It did not include breakfast but there was a microwave and refrigerator so we just brought our own food. The other hotels close by that did include breakfast were more expensive and a lot of the reviews on the food weren't that good. If you look at reviews for the Castle Inn, you may see that a lot of people said the beds were hard. We didn’t find that to be true and my husband and I are use to sleeping on a memory foam mattress. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Annabella Hotel a few years ago and loved it. We got a great deal on the room, it had a small, closed-off room with a sleeper sofa in addition and we walked to the park daily.
