Help Mommas! I'm going to Disneyland! I need to get a hotel that is as close to the entrance as possible! My neighbor recommends the Park Vue Inn-which is directly across the street, but no availability! Anyone familiar with the area??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks everyone so far! My neighbor said Park Vue (boutique like hotel without bells & whistles) is literally across the street, being that I'm with someone with special needs, I would rather be across the street vs waiting for shuttles!!! So theres a few next door I'm looking into!! Thank you again!

There are many that offer trams or buses to the park. I have stayed at Hilton Homewood Suites, they are a couple of blocks away but have a bus that rins every half hour and drops you off right at park entreance. Hope this helps.

It was a nice hotel, however, I was not at all impressed with the restaurant.

For convenience, you may also want to consider the Disney hotels on the resort itself (Disneyland Hotel & Grand Californian). They're right there, have great restaurants, fun themes, etc. Of course, you will pay more, but it might be worth it to you for the convenience and atmosphere.

Your neighbor means well but may be unaware that many many hotels and motels in the area have free shuttles to and from the park entrance.
"Directly across the street" is no better than staying a half mile away . . . .
especially if they don't provide a shuttle bus.
At the end of the day, the kids (and you!) wouldn't have the energy
to walk back to the hotel.
I don't have any specific recommendations but the entire area surrounding Disneyland is wall-to-wall motels . . . . HUNDREDS of motels.
Consider looking at the intersection of Harbor and Katella using Google maps and then look at the street view to see what else is close by.
Have a good time!!

Good luck!!

OOOPS.
Not the street view.
Just look at the map.
and the various features to the left of the map.
