my son is 4yr. he very active kid. healthy and no medical problem. on average he
eat about 4 apples a day and grapes. tow days ago i noticed that he been going
toilet very often, I went to toilet with him and found out that he is having
difficulties urinating. sometimes it comes normal and at times struggle to come.
called his doctor but ask me to bring him to clinic on monday. his temperature
is normal and doing everything as normal. can you please tell what is wrong with
him.
I agree with the constipation. It can cause him to have trouble urinating. I have noticed an increase in frequency for my 4 year old. Also, is he drinking enough? He could be dehydrated.
Also, that's too many apples for a little person.
Maybe 1/2 an apple in the morning and 1/2 an apple in the evening.
And should drink a LOT more water.
Is he constipated?
Its possible that he could have a bladder or urinary tract infection.
You didn't say if he is in any pain, or if he is drinking less fluids than normal.
You are correct to check with the doctor because it may be a bladder or kidney infection. These can be helped with medication if caught early.
If he's constipated the pressure of the bowel can press on the bladder and make him feel like he has to pee often and will restrict the flow.
Don't wait until MOnday-take him to the ER today-he probably has a urinary tract infection-for now-but may turn into a kidney infection if you wait-by the time he has a fever-he could also be urinating blood.
He may have a urinary tract infection -- in which case, he will need some antibiotics after a urine test.
