i just moved here from san francisco (yoga central :) and was very much looking forward to finding a prenatal yoga class in which u could keep in shape, get ready for birth, and (most importantly) meet some other almost mamas who are going through the same things that i am. i have now found 2 classes, one of which i was the only pregnant person in & the other one was cancelled same day :( not amusing! does anyone know of a real prenatal fitness class/group? please!
thanks so much for your ideas & recommendations! i finally found an awesome looking class at www.yogafairy.com. they have a session starting on july 11 & registration just began. they also offer mommy&baby classes there, so looks like a great/fun place to get involved :) thanks again & hope to see some of you there :)

I know this is an old post question and hope your pregnancy went smoothly! Red Pearl Yoga in Fort Lauderdale offers Pre Natal yoga ..and because they have two separate rooms they offer it at a prime time(mondays at 6pm right now) and also a 12:30pm weekday time on fridays. Great teachers, and an awesome place to chill and to practice. Their website is www.redpearlyoga.com. Also if you already had a solid practice before you got pregnant, they will let you do some of the regular vinyasa yoga and hatha yoga and yin yoga classes too, if its safe for your particular pregnancy.
I think there is one at the Hollywood Birthing Center.... http://www.hollywoodbirthcenter.com/ If they dont have it, they would probably know where you can find what you are looking for.
