My almost-4yo daughter has been seeing Dr. Robert Ochs (pronounced "oaks") since she was 2 for psoriasis. I love him. He's not in the Medical Center but isn't too far. He's on the corner of Blanco and Bitters, in the same complex as The Melting Pot.

Scott Henslee,MD in Medical Center Tower 1. ###-###-####. I love him and all of my boys(22mos, 11&13)including myself have seen him. He is really sweet and listens to what you have to say! Good Luck

Just curious as to "WHY"? Something to think about: Have you tried to remedy problems by other means? I like to use Baby Avalon, Aubrey, or California Baby (no parabens, no chemicals). For dry skin cold pressed organic olive oil or coconut oil are very effective. A diet change? The skin is the largest organ, which is very effective at removing toxins. Any indication of allergies always show up in the skin first. My belief is that Drs treat topically with meds (steroids, creams with toxic chemicals), sort of like putting a band-aid on the problem. Before you see the doc, make a list of types of foods 5 yr old eats. Are they fried? Does he eat a lot of dairy (very mucous producing www.notmilk.com)? Does he drink plenty of filtered water. Also, checkout your pantry for high fructose corn syrup and msg. This is really not what you asked for. However, I used to have rosacea and my dermatologist gave me a topical and told me I would ALWAYS have to deal with it. I cleared it up with what I suggested. www.mybiopro.com/claudia13

Dr. Raul Vela is in the Medical Center (Medical Tower 2) and is really good. I've been going to him since I was 13 and I've taken both my 4 year old and my almost 2 year old to him with no problems
