Does anyone have a coffee urn that they like? I'm looking at the Delonghi one from Target. It's more expensive but I'm wondering if it's one of those "you get what you pay for" things.

Hi,

My M. gave me a Delonghi coffee urn for christmas and I love it. It's big and beautiful. When I moved the lids glass handle broke and it was easy and inexpensive to replace. I would go for it.

I have a Starbucks Barista Aroma. It has a vacuum carafe plus timer. It keeps the coffee fresh all day. I really enjoy it, and they run them on sale. It is more expensive, but they also back them up.

My husband is very picky about his coffee, and he drinks a lot of it. He received the Melitta Mill & Brew as a gift, and he LOVES it. Best coffee maker we've ever had, and we've tried just about everything on the market. This one, you can use whole beans, and it grinds them up right in the basket, and then brews the coffee. Piece of cake. You can set a timer to do this too, if you want. So each pot is very fresh, and tastes better too. You can get whole beans at the grocery store, even the Starbucks brand if you like that, so it's convenient for us. You can also use regular ground coffee too, but my husband prefers the freshly ground, so I don't even buy the standard kind anymore.

He prefers this coffee at home to the coffee he used to get on his way to work at the fancy coffee shops, and now brings his coffee in a travel mug. The coffee maker runs about $55-$70, so it's cheaper than some of the brands we've tried and gave up on. Well worth the price.

I highly recommend the Melitta Mill & Brew. We've had it for a couple years now, and never had a lick of trouble with it, and the coffee is always great. (Even got me drinking it!)

Hello. We have a Delonghi coffee/espresso maker and we love it. It is getting old but still in great working condition. You do get what you pay for with coffee makers has been my experience. Good luck!
