The craft store has little containers and you could put baby bottles candy in there if you wanted.. or if you think of any craft ideas that you just dont have the time to do let me know and I could do them for you!

For our daughter's first birthday, we did wine with personalized labels saying "Happy First Birthday Jenna!" and gave them to each adult that attended the party. I think with shipping, it came to about $20/bottle through Windsor Vineyards. Turnaround time is fast too.

My suggestion is to give food, many times we spend a lot of money on "things" and people end up throwing it away. I usually give good chocolate lolly pops based on the theme of the b-day or chocolate covered strawberries. Again something edible is always prefered, I always end up throwing anything other than food away I will never display a favor on my house so it ends up being a waste of money for the person who threw the party. Hope this helps.

I have twin boys and for their first birthday I had their one year photo put onto a magnet with writing that said Happy 1st Birthday. Everyone LOVED it. It's just an idea.

Hi C.,
I had two favors at my daughters 1st b-day party.. I love chocolate...I made a personalized candy bars and the other chocolate item was chocolate kisses(with & without nuts). I purchased personalized ribbons and bought pink circle Tulle from the craft store. I also bought circle computer stickers the size of the bottom of the chocolate kisses. I put my daughters picture on the circle computer stickers and then placed them on the bottom of the kisses. I placed 4 kisses in each circle Tulle and wrapped them with pink ribbon and then with the personalized ribbons. I placed at least one of the kisses in a way that in the front, where the personalized ribbons showed her name & date of party, to show her picture in front. I placed them around the tables with the personalized chocolate bars...Everyone loved them...
Hope this helps .... Have a great party...
Bye, Jen

Congrats on your first year as a mommy! A couple ideas:

1. Mini picture frames - either standing or magnetic for grandma & grandpa & any other doting relative-you could insert a sweet pic of your daughter. For non-family, leave it empty or insert some pretty paper - something they can remove to insert their own pics.

2. mini bud vases for friends & family to use for those beautiful dandilions & buttercups their children will inevitably pick for them. I could use a bunch myself!

3. Anything that can be planted. Preferably a perenial that doesn't need too much TLC, tulips bulbs, daffodils bulbs, crocus . . .

4. Chocolate is always my favorite favor!

Have fun!

How about laser engraved wooden roses? They are roses that look and even smell like real roses. I have started a part time engraving business, and can send you a sample or a photo in email if you were looking to see what they looked like

We had my son's 1st birthday in April and, for the adults, we bought personalized chocolate bars by www.wrappedhersheys.com . They were great and we were even able to get them in the safari theme. Good luck and congrats on your baby's 1st bday!

What I did for my sons first birthday was filled bags of candy for the adults as well but I also added a piture of my son with a great baby frame for them. They loved it. One guest said to me what a great idea since it was a child's party, what a great way to carry theme of the party even though the paty favors.
Good luck & enjoy the party

You could do candy bars with the wrappers that thank them for coming, a date and your daughters first name.

Have you thought about homemade lollipops . You have a hundreds of different molds to choose from as well as mant different chocolate colors and flavors . Best part they don't take long to make and you can make them days before the party. You can pick them up at any cratfs store.
