Hi Mamas! I am looking to enroll my daughter in a dance class for next fall. She is 3 and we are wanting to start her off in a creative movement or pre-ballet class. Please let me know of any dance studios in the area that you have PERSONALLY tried for your kids and have had good or bad dealings with.

Hi Everyone! I looked around at the places below and then did some research online. I found a place called Mckinney Dance Academy that had EXCELLENT reviews from parents. I contacted Dari-the owner who is also an instructor and she was extremely nice and answered all my questions. They are actually quite reasonable too! We are starting her off in the fall in their pre-combo class which is a creative movement/ballet/tap class.

Taught there for 10 years before leaving to have my babies. The teachers there truly love their jobs, love their dancers, and are passionate about what they are doing. For 3 y/o's they do a 45 minute class with a combination of ballet, tap and jazz and some tumbling. It is very creative, while still having the structure children of that age need. It's a great experience for them.
I take tap and zumba at Frisco Dance Force near Stonebriar Mall. It is in the Target shopping area, across the street from Cotton Patch and next door to Half Price Books. They have fabulous instructors and teach that age.
Our 4 year old daughter has really enjoyed the dance/gymnastics program at The Little Gym in McKinney. They do 15 minutes of tap, 15 minutes of ballet, and 30 minutes in the gym. Let me know if you want more info. :)

The Dance Movement in Allen, Tx. On Custer just south of 121. fun mommy and me class pre ballet and 10 minutes of tumbling. my daughter dances around all the time now. she loved it.
My daughter has been going to the Pre-Ballet class for 3 and 4 year olds all year at Gotta Dance at Parker and Custer. She loves it! She has her recital coming up and their class is doing Cinderella. They look so cute in the costumes - I just can't wait to see them perform!
