Cyst on Face - I Need Removal - Recommendation??

I had a small cyst on my waistline and on my thigh and I had Dr. Russell Sparenberg do the removal. He is a plastic surgeon in Plano, well known. My OB/Gyn said if I went through Dr. Sparenberg, the scarring would be MUCH less because he is a pro at that stuff!.

Also, Dr. Allen Menter located at Baylor downtown is very good, well known and respected. If Sparanberg could not help me, Menter would.

I would not let a regular Dr. do it.. they have no idea if things can get complicated or not. You are dealing with your face, go to the best.

My husband just had 2 benign cysts removed by Dr. Dyslin and he did a fabulous job. One was on his head so my husband was very concerned about scarring as well. It's only been about a week but he is healing nicely and it's looking like scarring will be minimal. His office is in Arlington or Mansfield and he does surgery at USMD Hospital at I20 & Matlock.

I had a sebaceous cyst on my neck and a regular doctor removed it. There is no scar. I suggest that this is a simple procedure. I might go to a dermatologist who might have more experience with this.
