Hi there!

I am just wondering if anyone out there has tried a crib tent. Our 17 month old has climbed out of her crib on it's lowest setting and we are reluctant to put her in a toddler bed. Suggestions? Thanks!!

What can I do next?

We love the crib tent! We just switched to a toddler bed at almost 3 years and now we have all the issues with that. I wish that we could have stayed in the tent longer but we have another baby on the way and need the crib. Definitely a life saver.

I really liked it - it was really snug on the crib and I couldn't see any way that the baby could get it undone or hurt herself. I got it to keep the cat from jumping in the bed when she was a little baby, not because of climbing out though. I only used it once because the zipper was too loud - after her night feeding, it would wake her up when I closed it! For an older baby, this would not be an issue. I'd be happy to sell you mine - still in the box with instructions! Let me know if you're interested. I think I bought it (3 years ago) for $50. Will sell it for $20 :)

We never tried a crib tent. We found it easier to childproof our daughter's room (baby-proof outlet covers, mini-blind cords rolled up, dresser secured to wall, etc.) and put a baby gate across her doorway. That way, she could get in and out of bed (to play) safely.

My friend has one and it seemed pretty cool! You just unzip and get your kiddo out.

YES!!! I LOVE THE CRIB TENT! I used them for all 3 of my boys and could not have lived with out it! I never leave my 20 month old in a crib with out it shut. I wish they held up better than they do they tear easily but if its normal wear and not your 5 year old pulling it apart, then they replace it for free other wise the company sells replacement nets for $30.00 and I think the poles are like 15.00 to replace... you can also try your luck on Ebay to get a good deal on one but they are VERY popular on EBAY and hard to get cheap. But you can get lucky. Its my number one must thing to have for any baby room.
BTW, my first son fell out of his crib and was knocked unconsious when he was 9 months old, that was when we got the crib tent and have never been with out one since and that was nearly 5 years ago...

Great investment! I've used it on both my boys. Keep their toys and stuff inside too. It's a bit of a hassle to change the bed sheets but worth it to me.

We just moved ours to a mattress on the floor when they got to that point. I was too worried about them finding some way to get tangled up in the crib tent.

Loved it! My son used his under well after he turned two. Being that he was old enough to understand the concept of bed, it made the transition to a toddler bed much easier. I would recommed the crib tent to anyone with kids under 2.

Yes, it is a life saver!! Our son loves to zip it up when he goes in the crib/crib tent. It works great. It is easy to use too. It is well worth the money.
