Hi moms,

I am thinking of enrolling my 18month old in creme de la creme, he is currently in chesterbrook academy and has been there for 3 months. He is not adjusting well and I thought creme de la creme would be a better environment. Please advise

What can I do next?

This answer is for anyone that is looking into the program now (I know it's been 8 years since this question was asked).

I used to work at Creme de la Creme and it is HORRIBLE. Do not send your kids there.
Kids are given spoiled food and the wrong medication (by the DIRECTORS), parents are not told when there is a sickness (such as Lice going around), and their teachers are not supported by the directors, so they are always stressed out (hence the high turnover).
The turnover is not from the low pay. ECE Teachers go into this field despite the low pay (And Creme pays pretty well). So if a center has high turnover, there's a deeper problem.
Warrenville & Romeoville are the worst. I heard South Barrington is great though, for both teachers and the children!

Hi Tito you are not too far from me in Lockport and I have my son in Bobbie Noonans academy and he is 2..Within 3 months he could speak so much better he knows his numbers to 10 letters, shapes everything..I had him in Mary Sears and they were terrible, but I have been thrilled with the progress he has made here..

Hi - my daughter is 2 1/2 and we are currently enrolled at Creme. If you had asked me one month ago - I would have told you to stay away! The good news is that Creme has new corporate management in place and it appears that things are getting better. However, the biggest challenge I have with Creme is that they hire young teachers and tend to have very high turnover. We have been at Creme since October and my daughter is on her 5th teacher. The facility is beautiful, but they still need to work on teacher stability. Feel free to email me directly with addt'l questions. Regards, A.
