If you are significantly overweight then is it not unheard of to still have a regular period and be pregnant at the same time. I know I still had periods while I was pregnant, they were however much lighter then normal.

A good clue if you might be is, if this would be your first then area around your nipples will darken. This is something my mother, an OBGYN nurse, told me.

Yes! I had mine for part of my 1st pregnancy (I was super irregular, was pregnant & didn't know). I had other symptoms of pregnancy ~ tired, sensitive to smell, instead of a.m. sickness, it was ALL day sickness, etc. I told my dad what was going on (I got "sick" after taking a few sips of water) & HE'S the one who told me I was probably pregnant! Kinda humiliating having your dad suggest you might be pregnant (although my husband & I were very happy)!

Yes. I had my period the entire time I was pregnant. It sucked because I had to get an ultrasound every month to make sure the baby was doing okay. Go see your doctor, get a blood test done to make sure you are pregnant or not. Its better to be sure then worry about it.

It is possible to have a slight menstrual period if you are pregnant. I had a friend who had hers through her entire pregnancy. Check with your doctor though. Also get a blood test to see if you are pregnant. Blood tests are more accurate rather then a pregnancy pee test. :) good luck

sure! I had a full-blown, 7 or 8-day, cramping period when I turned out to be pregnant with my second. I didn't know until I missed my next period :(

You could be, but its not common to get your period while you are pregnant. I have also been getting nauseous around my period. My guess is, when your pregnant the hormonal change is what makes you sick and you also have hormone changes before your period. Its happened to me the past couple months too. I better not be pregnant....haha!! I did take a pregnancy test before my period last month because it was late, and it was negative.

Hi E.,
Yes you could be pregnant and sill have your period, so I suggest you go see your ob/gyn doctor. It could be nothing, but it's better to get checked than to assume.

I would take a pregnancy test, because I hate not knowing!
