Ok...here goes...
I had a baby 10 mos. ago in September and have nursed her up until a couple weeks ago. This past Saturday (July 38th), I found spotting. It was only there on Saturday. I have not had a period since my baby was born. My periods are irregular and basically come when they want. However, my periods last the normal amount of time of 5 days. So, my question remains...has anyone experienced something like this? Could this be a sign that I'm pregnant again?

What can I do next?

When you are nursing, it is quite common not to have a period. Especially if you are soley nursing. Or to have occasional spotting. Whether you are partially or fully nursing, you can still become pregnant. I think your best bet is to take a pregnancy test. :)

J.,

If you weren't using any birth control, then yes you can be pregnant. You said that you BF up until a couple of weeks ago. Was it 100% breast milk all the time, or did you use solids, cereal, formula, etc? BF'ing does keep your period away and can prevent ovulation, but you never know when your period cycle will return and it all starts with releasing an egg. If an egg was released and you had unprotected sex...you very well could be pregnant.

Wanna know for sure? Take a test. Lol.

Good luck.

Take a pregnancy test or make an appointment with the doctor for a blood test. If you've had unprotected sex, regardless of breastfeeding, you could be pregnant.

My boys are 13months apart (If you do the math that means I was pregnant about 3-4 months after the first!) So I was strictly nursing the first until he was 3 months when I went back to work and started pumping and supplementing as needed. I too had one spotting incident and then never had another one... I felt very sick so I took a test. I recommend getting a test if you are wondering because you can indeed get pregnant when you are nursing!!

Yep, you sure could be, even if you were still nursing. Or, yur period could just be returning, as sometimes they can be different than before your baby was born. If you really want to find out, call your dr., but it sure is possible. Good luck, I hope the outcome is what you want!! :)
