Thanks in advance!

there is Rolling Prairie Alliance with pick up at Johns County Community College across the street from the Policy Academy on JCCC campus grounds: http://www.rollingprairie.net/sites.htm

also just learned Hen House does a CSA which I did not know til this year all 12 locations, farthest south seems like 135th street but it might be better for you...but by this time in season may be too late FYI...: http://www.henhouse.com/growers_alliance_csa/

Hi K.,

I participate in the Hen House program which is great.

Try www.localharvest.org
There is also Kansas City Food Circle but I'm not sure if they have a website.
I also heard that there was a private farmer down in Bucyrus that had a program, I'll ask around and see if that is true.

Good for you for checking this out.

i don't really know what 'csa' is or the purpose is. if you are looking for locally grown produce, you can get that at Vioght's farms. they also sell thier produce at ace hardware, in gardner! if this is not what you are looking for, pls ignore me!

Not sure about south, but there is a Merriam Organic Farmers Market that will be offering CSA shares in September.

Also, if you haven't checked it out, look at the KC Food Circle website for more CSAs.

Hen House has a program where you pick up your CSA foods every Saturday, I believe.
