I am having a very hard time finding clothing that fits me correctly. By no means am I complaining, but I wish I could find a store that I really like that has clothing in my size! I am 32 years old so I do not want to look like I am 20, but sometimes I actually buy little girl clothing because I cannot find anything else! I am 5'2'' and 100 lbs. Help! Anyone else have this issue and have found a brand they really like? I feel like I need a personal shopper!

What can I do next?

The Limited size 0 pants are great and you can get them tailored for free if they are not sale price and even at that it is only $8 to hem.

hi. i'm 4'9" and about 90 lbs, so i def. know where you're coming from. it sounds crazy, but i have found the girls plus sizes in jeans at old navy fit me well, i'm in 10 plus. i used to buy jeans at jcpenney, they have a short length, though this year i didn't like the new cut. i shop alot of secondhand stores also! shirts are hit or miss, i just have to try them on. i have been known to have the same outfits my girls do though!

Victoria's Secret has great petite size clothing online. I am 5'1' and 107 lbs so I understand your pain.

Ann Taylor Loft has great classic styles that are adult and small sizes cut for women. They have petite length too. Their regular prices are a little high, but they have great sale racks! I never buy anything full price there.

Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft are great. Also, Talbot's has a petites department and a large selection online last time I looked.

I am not petite, but I used to work for JCP and they have a pretty decent section of petite clothing and from what I remember, they were pretty age appropriate (not to young, not to old). Good luck.

I am the same age, weight and height and I have never really had problems finding clothes that fit well. I usually shop at Old Navy & Target, buying smalls-larges depending on clothing type. Some designers make things a lot smaller that are skin tight which I am not totally fond of while others smalls are just too small so I buy a medium or large if I know it may shrink when washed. I buy size 4 jeans, short at Old Navy and they are super cute, I also buy LEI short size 7's in Jr. at other stores and they fit me well. It is all about trying on and finding a place you like. I am pretty simple, so Old Navy/Gap are good places for me! Good luck!

I don't have your "problem"--wish I did! Could you consider getting a tailor/seamstress to make you clothes? I have heard of people doing that; you get to choose the pattern, fabric, etc and you get exactly what you want and s/he fits it to you. It may cost a little more but might be worth it.

New York and Co has true to sizing Petites and stylish without being toooo young. Their boot cut petite jeans are GREAT and so cute. Also Old Navy, though their petities (pants) tend to run a little long on me and I'm about your height.

Kohl's has a petite section. The dress pants are ok and they usually have a pretty decent selection for jeans. Maurices used to be one of my favorite stores too. I have a couple of pairs of Old Navy jeans that fit nice. Oh...I'm 5' and I used to be skinny like you...till I had kids! LOL!!!!

I have the same problem! You are even taller than me by 2 inches! ha!

I don't really shop for a particular brand, I just have to try things on first. Today I'm wearing some Faded Glory jeans that fit me well. Often times I have to hem pants myself (a skill I learned early on that I would just have to know! LOL)

I loved Steve & Barry's jeans, but of course they are closed now :( I still have a few pairs, but they are getting worn with holes in them!

I did get a good pair of jeans at Buckle before I got pregnant. Of course after baby they didn't fit anymore! They are pricey to me, though, so I haven't tried them again. I usually get clothes from a secondhand store. Sometimes you can find some that have already been hemmed!

At 4 ' 11" and 95 lbs, I understand! I feel like I shop at the departments right next to where I have to shop for my 4 kids to find anything that fits!! I'm now lounging in my jammie set that is a girls size! Although the benefit to that is the cheaper prices versus womens :)

I do like Faded Glory and L.E.I. that Walmart carries. Kohl's has a SO... Brand that I like too. Some of their styles are junior looking, but I've also found jeans that work great - not kid looking at all. They actually come in "short" sizes. When Kohl's runs their sales, that is a great time to check (I just picked up 3 pair for $12 each). And believe it or not, I've hit the jackpot at garage sales - when you find a house with someone our size who lives there, you can clean out their inventory!! Finally, check out JC Penney for their Arizona brand too - have shorts from them that I love. Good luck!!

I am 33 and 5'1" and 115 lbs. My favorite store is Express. They have petite sizes too. A lot of the stores will have some selections for petite size pants. Kohl's also has a petite section.

I know what you mean. Sometimes petite clothing is so old lady-ish. I really like Ann Taylor LOFT. (I love Ann Taylor, too, but LOFT is more affordable.) I have also had great luck with jeans at Express. They have a short length that isn't too short + they fit great and they're stylish.

I hope this helps. Since I have the same issue, I plan to check back to see if anyone else has more ideas!!
