We cloth diaper our 13 month old daughter. She is currently on her second size of diapers and I'm noticing that they're getting a little tight. For your cloth diapering mommas out there, how many sizes did your kid go through before s/he potty trained?
we have all in one one size diapers that go from 8-36lb, so those are the only ones we will need from birth to potty training....
My older son was in size L diapers at about 12 months, and those diapers fit until he was done with diapers at 2.5. He was a chunky toddler and as he got longer and lankier his rear stayed the same size. My younger son topped out in a M.
When you say size do you mean row of snaps on one size diapers or actual sized diapers and she is in mediums that are too tight.
My daughter will be 2 in a few weeks and she is still wearing mediums and on her one size diapers they are all unsnapped in the rise but she has plently of room left in the waist and hip snaps.
We did a combination of prefolds with covers and one size pockets. The one size pockets I only bought one set of and I bought 2 sizes of prefolds. He went through x-small and small covers with the first set of prefolds and I bought the thirsties adjustable covers (in the larger size) for the bigger prefolds. He potty trained about 5 months ago.
We use prefolds. We have two sizes, and that's all my daughter used until potty training at just over 2 yrs old. Right now my 12 mo daughter is in the larger size. We mostly use adjustable covers so they fit the whole time.
