I wouldn't use CLR, that is so bad for you & your family to breath in. The best I've found is through Melaleuca, called Tub N Tile. It's got the incredible cleaning strength for soap scum, hard water, etc., and there are no caustic chemicals like chlorine bleach or formaldehyde! I don't feel like I'm wheezing when I clean either, and I get 4 bottles out of one since it's super concentrated! I'd love to share these amazing products with you if you are interested! White vinegar. It will smell, but it cleans glass like you wouldn't believe. You may have to leave it sprayed on the glass to eat away the corrosion, then spray it again and wipe it dry.

I've heard that white vinegar mixed with a little water will take it off with a little scrubbing.

I use Lime Away, or CRL. Hope it works :)

If you have soap scum, you may have to scrape it off first.

When we first moved into our home, the master bathroom had clear glass shower walls and door. They were the biggest pain to clean and keep clean. I would faithfully use the squeegie after EVERY shower to dry the glass, and we still had a film on them. I ended up having to use a razor blade and just scrape them. After all the scum was scraped off, I used windex on mine.

Since then, I have used the Scrubbing Bubbles brand shower system after every shower to keep the shower looking nice. Once a week, I use Windex on both the inside and the outside of the glass and I have not had any problems with the glass looking cloudy since.

The issue was that I had to get the scum off and then keep it off.

Good luck!
