Hi all, I am planning to do a cindrella theme Bday party for my four year old daughter, I need some tips on how to make it more fun for girls under this theme. Any decoration, game, gift or other suggestion would be helpful.I am planning to have cindrella costume character come in.

I will have two small issues to handle at that time, one there will be some boys her age as she wants them in her partty too, so how to keep them busy in girly party and second I will have 2 week old baby in my hands to deal with.Any ideas are welcome!

What can I do next?

Hi S.
I think the boys should ok with cinderella coming in if you are that worried about it you may want to get some trucks or cars and a few books and have them avaliable to play with if they are not interested.

as for the baby I would buy a sling and have him in that or a front carrier so you still have baby but your hands are free. Have a great birthday party. I made my daughter a castle cake when we did the princess theme.

-The girls could come dressed as their favorite princess.
-If you are serving food, you could set a fancy table and have little finger sandwiches.
-They could do a princess related craft...decorate a crown, tiara or picture frame.
-Have a treasure hunt for princess stickers, jewelry.
-put on music and let them dance in their fancy dresses.

My 3 yr old son has attended a "pretty princess tea party" with his friends (which included boys). They didn't care what it was. There were a ton of clothes to dress up in and the kids LOVED that. My son loved the pink hat, the red boa and the pink high heeled shoes. The boys loved the dresses as well. It's great that when they're that young, they just don't care.

Besides the dress-up stuff, they also had cupcakes to decorate with icing and sprinkles. They had cups, paperplates and napkins with disney characters. The cupcakes were enough to keep the kids enthralled so I wouldn't worry too much about it, if I were you. THey need so little to keep them happy.

- All kids love magic wands. My 10 yrs old nephew even wanted one. You can get inexpensive ones at your local party store.
- You might not get pink plates or cups if possible, the boys all made faces about that.
- I made Magic Strawberries for our party. Strawberry dipped in almond bark dipped in colored sugar.
- If any grandparents or other adults will be at the party I am sure you will have no problem getting someone else to hold the baby.
- You could have the kids make their own crown. They sell foam crowns with foam stickers at the local craft store. Boy and girls would like this activity.

Good luck! My daughter loved her princess party last summer and I am sure the real life Cinderella will be a huge hit!
