Hi Everyone-
As these are tough economic times, I am looking for the best price possible for a christmas tree. Do you know of tree lot or u-cut farm with reasonable prices?

What can I do next?

furrow farms has great trees with a wide range of prices depending on what you are looking for. Also Larsen Farm Nursery has a nice selection starting at $10.

Most of these are just out off HWY 26 in the Hillsboro area.

Not sure where you are located, but there is u-cut up on NW Skyline and NW Cornell. All trees $20/each, any size you cut. You cut, you load. We go every year. Take your mud boots.

If you are on the Eastside, there is a lot by 148th & Powell that has trees starting at $5. This is where I usually get my tree & I don't think I have ever paid more than $20. It is a fundraiser for charity & all the trees are donated & the workers volunteers.

Merry Christmas!

My friends have a tree lot that they run for fun and it is only open one day a year to friends and public----Dec. 12th this year----from around 9am to dusk.

Every tree, no matter the size is $15. They have saws and you cut it yourself. They don't have any Nobels---they all went last year. Still lots of trees small to huge!

It is on the corner of SW Miller Hill Rd and SW Gassner Rd. That is on Cooper Mt. Miller is off of Farmington btwn 209th and 185th.

Hi, M.--

I am in a similar boat this year. For the first time, I decided to get an artificial tree. I found a great deal (Target) for a 6 foot pre-lit tree for $25. I am a bit bummed about it not being a live tree, but it looks nice and a friend gave us some fresh greenery in a garland so we still have the lovely pine smell. I figure that this tree will be good for a few years while I am still trying to get back on my feet financially. I wish you and your son a lovely holiday season!

All the best to you!

I saw some trees on Sunnyside that said every tree $20.
That is probably going to be just about the best price you will find. You might try to go to goodwill and see if they have an artificial tree cheaper.
