Hi E.
God bless you and give you wisdom.
Have you found a church? Where are you going?
Are you a new Christian? When and where were you saved?
Have you checked the newspaper for what is happening?
Aglow is a Christian ecumenical org. Christian Woman's Club is also a Christian org.
I belong to a Baptist Church locally and I serve the Lord through that church. There is always lots to do at an active Bible Believing, Bible Preaching church. Where there is love God is there.
Our church has a booth at the county fair, and Vacation Bible School during the summer. Other programs we have are woman's groups, Bible studies, men's group, youth group, kids' group, Book club, choir, bands, and anything else someone wants to lead. Oh by the way there are less than 100 members so don't discount small churches. We donated over $13,000 to help others through 2007, we will hear the result of 2008 tomorrow night.
God bless and guide you in your search

Not sure where in Albany you are looking, but I can tell you that we have a lot of great churches here in the Bethlehem area...Delmar Full Gospel, Delmar Reformed, and Bethlehem Community Church - all with a few differences in styles of worship. We also have partnered with Loudonville for many things and they are a great church too, as is Grace which I believe is considered to be in Latham (I love it there and it is a HUGE church with two services and a coffee bar and all kinds of groups, but it is too far from me here in Ravena!) I go to Bethlehem Community (On the corner where 32 turns left by the Bethlehem Town Park) and I LOVE it there. They have different groups that meet pretty much every day of the week...I know there are two womens groups on Monday nights, one on Thursday night and one on Thursday morning. In addition we have a mom's play group twice a month (not sure how old your kids are). There is also prayer every day from 12-2 and Thursday nights from 7-8 in addition to our service at 10 on Sundays - which includes a social time after the service every week. Email me if you want any more information on any of these churches. oh yeah, and I think that all of them have websites too. Good luck and God bless!!

Hi, E.. I'm S. M. and I go to Loudonville Community Church in Loudonville, NY. If you're interested in checking out the groups they have there, there are plenty of groups. Single groups, married couples groups, MOMs Bible Study, MOMs meeting where they afellowship and do crafts and have a theme that someone will do some talks on, they have a women's groups, they have missionary groups, etc. They have groups for divorced people, and the list can go on. If you are interested let me know...
