Childcare in Coppell

I'd recommend Primrose School in Coppell. I'm not sure about their pricing, but from my experience, it's worth any amount to ensure the safety of your child. Sometimes just b/c something is reasonable doesn't mean it's great. Think about how much your child is worth to you - paying for great care and a great learning environment is worth every penny. Some centers are out for the money and you can tell. Others, it's all about quality. My son is in a Primrose and is thriving!!! It's worth the money to me, even though it is a bit more than you would rather pay. You get what you pay for... truly.

Though this may not fall within "reasonably priced", I found the Primrose School on the corner of Parkway and Hertz to be a VERY warm place with teachers who immediately looked up, smiled and said hello when we walked in on our tour. They only offer full-time care.

Also take a look at the Coppell Childhood Development Center (no website, but google for contact info), Children's Courtyard in Lewisville (just minutes outside of Coppell at the corner of 3040 and Edmond) and SmartStart (again, more expensive).

You will find many churches offer 'Mother's Day Out' programs that are usually less expensive than FT childcare centers. In addition to Stringfellow, I know the following offer programs: the Catholic Church on Sandy Lake, the Butterfly School off Beltline, Vista Ridge United Methodist Church off Denton Tap and Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church on Sandy Lake.

my two oldest go to Discover and Share (crossing beltline and MacArthur). You can look them up under Local Business Reviews. I'm very satisfied with them, so are a couple of other mothers on Mammasource. I only know the teachers in the two's rooms and above. Please let me know if you need more info. My oldest goes fulltime this year, the other one (just turned 3) goes 2 days a week. I think for 15 months the minimum is 3 days a week. You can pick the days yourself, and if you want to switch one week, that's never a problem.

I take it they need full-time care? If not, I'd recommend the Stringfellow School at First United Methodist Coppell. There are a couple of reviews at mamasource.

Daycare in Coppell itself can be pricy; they may do better to look in other cities around the area. We live in Coppell but my 2yo daughter goes to Carrollton Montessori Dickerson, just off of the George, which is a straight shot for me to get to work in the mornings. Before that she went to a daycare in Grapevine, which was near my husband's office.

I did tour several local places before putting my daughter in Dickerson, and of the places in Coppell itself, I liked Coppell Montessori the best. Brand-new facility, and I don't think you can beat the Montessori program. But I don't remember what their lower age limit was.

I live in Coppell and use an in home day care. Almost all of the people that I spoke with were ony full time and anywhere from 160-185/week. It is very expensive but I don't worry about my son one bit while I am at work. I love my child care provider. They can search on the web for licensed child care in texas and then enter their zip code. All of the names will pop up with numbers. Its a start. Good luck
