Hello All!

I have a great job for people with good written and verbal skills which you can do at home. I work for Trade to Travel, www.TradeToTravel.com. The position I have to offer is a sales position. The postion would require sending inquiries out to various spectacular vacation home owners, inviting them to join. You will earn a commission of 50% of anything you sell.

If you're interested, you can email me at ____@____.com. : )

All the best,
J.

I used to do mystery shopping, but like someone else said DON'T quit your dayjob...unless you have all day every day to devote to it, you're definitely not going to make an income bearing amount...its good if you dine out frequently, because you can definitely get meals compensated; however, you have to order what they want you to most of the time and sometimes its only appetizers. AFter every "mystery shop" you have to fill out a survey/questionnaire that sometimes requires essay type of answers, then you have to scan and upload the receipt, etc. etc. - The best way to go, in my opinion, is to do paid surveys and testing products. When you do this, you don't have to leave your house and you can complete the surveys or test the products while your child(ren) is/are sleeping!! You can find links to these types of sites anywhere (i.e. Google or Babiesonline.com)...Good luck - and if you're trying to find an at-home type of job (that's legitimate), try getting certified/qualified to be a medical transcriptionist...but beware of scammers -- if you were to do this, call a local hospital or clinic and ask them for a referral to a good school or program, also find out if the job is in "need" in your area!!!!

Hi R., you can find reputable companies on www.volition.com or www.mysteryshop.org/. As you know, never pay anyone for info or to sign up. The legit companies won't ask for money. I personally shop for Focus On Service (restaurants), Kern Sheduling, Bare Associates, Beyond Hello (lots of fast food), Service Sleuths (hotels, retail), and a couple others. You will get choosen for more shops if you become a certified shopper ( at least silver level) - you can find info on the MSPA site. HTH

I have found a very helpful yahoo group that I have joined. They have a ton of lists of LEGITIMATE work at home opportunities including one for mystery shopping. You have to answer a couple of questions to join (to weed out the spammers and such), but I think it's very cool! Plus, they have lists of companies/offers that are known scams...if you'd like to check it out, the link is: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/RealJobs_FromHome/

Hope this helps!

I've only done a little - it's a lot of work for not great pay. I started on Shadowshopper.com which is free for some basic info, then you have to do some research to find the companies. Do NOT give them any money if you sign up. They try to scam you by offering you "elite" memberships with more info and it's the same info you get by going to the companies web-sites. I have worked for Marketing Endeavors and Satisfactionservices. If you want more info or the web addresses, email me!

I've done mystery shopping for Bestmark. They are legitimate, but I have to warn you, you can't make a decent income from mystery shopping. You may get a couple reimbursed meals and less than 50.00 a month unless you can find a lot more companies to go out for, and even then, I wouldn't quit my day job.

Good Morning,

R. I just joined mamsource and saw your meessage. Below I have listed the link to the Mystery Shopping Providers Association. This is a legitimate association where you can obtain your certification (cost $15.00). I applied last year and received link to quite a few legitimate companies that will send you e-mails for assignments and they require that you have a certification. I also listed a link to one of the companies that are always looking for mystery shoppers. I hope this helps.

There's a company right here in hampton roads that's legit. it's in the yellow pages I think under private detective or security. The lady is really nice and down to earth. To start there's not much work but as time goes on you get more and more.

I don't do this personally but one of my professors does this. She enjoys it. The only downfall she says is when she has to shop restaurants she usually has to pay out of pocket first and then they reimburse her. That's the only advice I have...hope it helps.

Hi R.! I started mystery shopping with a company called BestMark a few months ago and have loved it so far! I get to choose my own schedule and make a little extra cash while doing so. I don't get rich by any means, but it does put a bit of extra cash in my pocket while also offering me free meals, discounted or free auto services (which need to be done anyway! - why not fill out a survey about the customer service to get paid?), get discounted groceries, etc. The company I am working for does not charge any fees at all so I basically just wait until I see a job in my area that I would like to do. I had always wondered about mystery shopping and one day received a check from some random company telling me to complete a wire money transfer (at the time I hadn't been a mystery shopper), so I did some research and found out it was a complete scam. In the process of my research, I came across some legitimate mystery shopping companies that I applied for, BestMark currently being my favorite. It doesn't hurt to sign up and wait to see the jobs in your area! http://www.bestmark.com
