Hello Mama's,

I am looking in to a career change ( EDIT: from Cosmetology), once both my kids are in school: any suggestions on where to look for some good ideas on what to go back to school for, or any suggestions. I have a lot of time, but I want to get started as soon as possible.

What can I do next?

I'm a stylist as well and would love a career change. Go to your local community college and take the Meyers Briggs personality test, it can help narrow down your interests career wise. Also, browse the outlook handbook for career ideas:

Look at your local community college. They usually have adult classes for
adults looking to go back to work.

if you want to go into cosmetology, i suggest a beauty academy. we have two in the city i live in. i don't know if christina's is a national brand or not, but they have their own academy, then we also have the city one. my future SIL is starting to attend this summer (she is still in high school, she will be finished with her schooling soon after she finishes. she gets high school credit for attending a trade school. pretty awesome.)

good luck finding out information for your area.

I work for a direct sales company that allows IR's to build and expand their business selling products & services like Dish Network, True Essentials, Envy Organics, Digital Landing, AT&T Atlantic Broadband
Bresnan Communications Buckeye Cable Cavalier Charter
Cincinnati Bell Clearwire Embarq Earth link Hughes Net Frontier
Mediacom Insight Communications Verizon Qwest
online. Selling products & services that your family & mine buy every day. You don't handle purchase transactions, shipping, product inventory. I use inbound marketing (free), online training is provided and since I own the business my income potential is unlimited, unlike an hourly job. I am in the position now where I need to expand my business, if you are interested in owning your own business & collaborating as a team please contact me any time.
