I recently saw a commercial, or thought I did, and don’t remember what brand/model the item was. Can anybody help?
I seemed to be a learning system for young toddlers. The child was standing in front of the TV and dancing and could see himself dancing on the screen. I have seen the v-motion from v-tech and this is similar but not quite the same. With the v-motion the child controls to movement of a character, where as in this commercial the toddler actually appeared on the TV along with other characters?
Sound familiar to anyone? If you know what it is do you recommend it? My son is very interested in music & loves to dance. He also loves the computer, so I thought a learning system that combines them both would be great.
Thanks for all the info! The commercial I saw was for the Dance Cam but the Star Station looks great too. Now I am confused between the two but very happy to have learned that I did not conjure the commercial up in my dreams. After lots of searching I thought I was loosing my mind. Hi. I think what you are talking about is Dance Cam by Playskool. I just bought this for my 2 year old and plan on giving it to her for Christmas. She loves to dance and to actually see herself on TV I think is going to be a big hit. Hope this helps! D.
the only thing i found was by playskool and it was just a monitor you hook up to the tv and it faces the kids and they dance and it shows up on the tv target and toys r us adn babies r us has that it is about 40 $

Hi R., my Daughters actually have the old version of this toy. The new one is even better as it offers 2 microphones. it is called Star Station. It retails for about 50.00 to 60.00 and is a fisher price toy. I beleive Walmart and Target both sell it, not sure with Christmas though if they have any in stock? Happy hunting and Merry CHRISTmas!

I think it's the Fisher Price Star Station. Kids can sing songs and see themselves on TV. We have the "older" model - the one from two years ago and my kids loved it. I know Fisher Price re-did it this year, but I'm sure it's the same. Hope this is the right thing. Good luck.
That's definitely the Dance Cam. It's tops on my daughter's Christmas list, too. I had it in my amazon cart for a while at $35, and then it sold out. I finally found it on another website for $65. CRAZY. Too much for this toy, but I know it's the only thing she really wanted, so I went for it. See if you can find it at Toys R Us as I believe it is priced better there - but I would call first! Might be the Star Station by Fisher Price. My kids have it and love it. Ours is a few years old and I think they made improvements. Good luck, A.
toys r us at fox valley did have alot and it was on sale for 35 (i think)
