Does anyone know of a good salon in the Tomball/Woodlands/Cypress area that has a stylist who can work with curly hair? I'm in between stylists right now, but would like to find someone who can work with my curly hair. I have long, frizzy/curly (not nice waves, but more like I stuck my finger in a light socket look), mom-hair right now and I'd like something ease to take care of but up-to-date at the same time. I'd love any feedback you ladies could provide. Thanks!!
I did finally go and get my haircut! I went to Damsels and Blokes because it sounded great and is very near my home. I got coloring with Connie and a haircut with Vincent. My haircut and color turned out great! I was very happy. It is what I might call a "higher end salon", as I walked out of there with a fairly hefty price tag for it all. But, I was looking for a place that could tell me what I looked good in and what I needed, so it was worth it. Thanks Sheila for the recommendation :)

Try TGF salon in the Randall's shopping center HWY 242 and FM 1488, and ask for Jami. Jami only works on Sunday. She and her daugther have naturally curly hair , and does a great job on me and my family.

I feel your pain and I have the PERFECT guy for your - his name is Vincent and he used to be with Tony & Guy, but him and some other guys got together and opened their own salon DB (Damsels & Blokes). It is off 249 and Spring Cypress in the shopping center where Petco is. It is right by the new Carter' Store. I trust him with my life when it comes to my hair. It took me forever to find someone that I trusted on this side of town, I moved over here about 4 years ago. I went through a few who just didn't "get" it. Finally I found him and I have followed him and been with him for almost two years. He listens - he takes his time and he wants you to be happy. I use industrial red on 1960 right off of 290. They have been able to help me control my frizzy hair!!
