Hello Ladies,
my son's 2nd bday party is going to be Caillou themed. I already got some stuffs from birthdayexpress.com (plates, balloons, banner, etc) I'm looking for the piñata, but I don't want it to be pull strings.
Do you know where I can get the piñata and do you have any ideas/pictures of a great Caillou birthday party?

Anything will help.
Thank you

So What Happened?

Wow!
Thank you for all your great mommy advices. You ladies just reminded me of my son's 1st birthday. He got really scared when he saw the kids hitting Elmo. I think I'm going to stich with the firetruck piñata, juts like one of Caillou's firefighter episode. Thank you soooo much

I agree with Tracy about hitting the face... my neice had a live Cinderella come to her party so we decided NOT to have a Cinderella shaped pinata. That would've been too weird.

You could try this firetruck classic pinata:

Calliou had an episode about firetrucks I believe.

Ive seen enough Caillous on youtube now. There are some that stand out in my grand daughters mind and you could find things to use as party favors, or games. Magnet Madness is one episode she loves and everytime she sees a magnet she talks about how Caillou used it to pick up the screw. She also remembers and loves the Pizza Party one when the twin friends come and make pizza. She loves the one where Caillou makes the ceramic cup for his M. after breaking hers. She twisted my arm the other night to make her a black top hat so she could do magic tricks because Caillous daddy gave him one. A 2 year old will be happy with the plates and cake looking like Caillou. Be sure to get some photos. I dont think my grand daughter would want to hit Caillous head just to get candy tho,,lol

Look on ebay. I got an edible caillou picture to put on the cake. It was $6 and if you send a pic of your son, you can have his pic put on the pic next to caillou. It looked great.

I'd like to take a swing at that little bald-headed whiner! LOL! ;)~ I agree with the momma that said please don't get a Cailou pinata. A nice authentic pinata in primary colors would be perfect!
Have you tried doing a google or yahoo search for Caillou party and then choose to view image results? The nice thing about doing a Caillou themed party is that they just do a lot wholesome day to day stuff on the show, so you don't need to do anything too elaborate.
good luck

I get my pinatas at the Mercado
Please dont get a Caillou one. It wierds me out when kids are whacking the thing they love in the face. I usually get one that is the number they are turning or a truck or star or something ambiguous.

Did you go to Sprout.com for more party ideas. I do not know about a pinata but they do have fun activities if there will be other kids at the party.
