Check out the Flip cams, they're designed for uploading smaller video clips to myspace, youtube, things like that. They run around $100. If she's into more than just videos for social sites, and wants to film things longer than 60 minutes then you might have to get a fancier camcorder-style.

We have a regular digital Kodak Camera that takes videos and photos and we love it. We filmed my brother's wedding ceremony, birth of our daughter (no camcorders allowed, but cameras were!) everything. Plus we take tons of pictures too...2 in 1!

I also have a sony digital camcorder (fancy kind) and it's sat in the case since we got the digital camera w/ video.

i got my daughter a camera for only 69.99 at Walmart for her birthday - I tried to find it to get the name, but she must have it with her - it is really nice and takes great pictures/video clips. That might be a good place to start looking

My daughter and I both have the Nikon Cool Pics. It takes great pictures and mini clips too. Best of all it just slips in your pocket. It came with a rechargeable battery that takes forever to wear down. The battery charger also comes with it. I got one at Walmart and the other at Sams Club. They were both under $100.

HI. I got my daughter a camera for a special vacation - I picked up a Sony Cybershot - we are very happy with it. It's been dropped, banged around, etc and works like a charm. It ended up being about $119 - so it's in your range.

Good luck!
