I am just into my 8th week of pregnancy, but I wanted some advice and suggestions on where to buy COMFORTABLE bras for my pregnancy. With my first pregnancy, I gained a full cup size and stayed there, so I am afraid I will again gain and need to buy new bras. The first time around I stuck with old bras or cheapy ones at target or walmart only to be completely uncomfortable. SO, i was hoping some of you could recommend a place to buy comfortable (but not too expensive) bras to where during this pregnancy. I would like to be able to get fitted, but would totally buy them online if needed.

What can I do next?

I bought cheaper Jc Penny bras the first time I went up a cup size while I was pregnant, and was so uncomfortable. They were ok, but not great. The next time I had to buy them I got nursing bras from motherhood maternity. They weren't really much more expensive than the Vanity Fair or whatever they were. I knew I might need to go up another size when my mik came up, but since I was close to due date I figured I'd start there since I was having to buy them anyway (I couldn't stick it out any longer, I was miserable in them). I didn't have to buy them a third time, thank goodness, because the nursing bras will expand. I ended up going up 3 cups sizes by the time I delivered, it was ridiculous, I was in a G. Bras are too important to get cheap uncomfortable ones, to me anyway.

Believe it or not, Victoria's Secret has VERY comfortable bras, and if you sign up for their coupons (which is free), and you get them during a sale, you can find them for $15-$30 no problem! I love them and always spend the little bit of extra money on them because they are so comfy (and they give you that added extra oomph to make you feel sexy)! Good luck!

I like JCPenney bras, you can get them cheaper at the JCPenney Outlet store over in the Overland Park area. There's also the Great Mall of the Great Plains, which I think still has a vanity fair outlet. Just research prices beforehand to make sure you arent just buying things thinking they're cheaper due to outlet store. but I personally love the jcpenney outlet store, whenever I can get my hubby to go all the way over there. (We're by Independence).

You sound like me. I gained with both and no matter how much weight I loose, they don't go away! I buy Vanity Fair underwire with a light padding. They have been very comfortable to me over the years. They run about $30 each. I think JC Penney is having a buy one get one 1/2 off sale. Check around at your local department stores for sales before going. I hate paying full price for anything. I had to with my last bra because they only had 1 in my size.

Well I agree with R.M...it's too important to me to go cheap! Nordstrom's has the best lingerie department with the most helpful associates. When I'm pregnant or not I go there to be fitted. The bras can be expensive, but what's an extra $20 when you're paying for such comfort. Pregnancy is so uncomfortable as it is, why not try and make it better. Depending upon how big you are normally, you may not be able to fit in Victoria's Secret. They only go to a DD. By the end of pregnancy, well, who am I kidding, at about 8 weeks in, I was in a size I so I went for comfort! Good luck! Oh...and don't go to a maternity store to buy a bra unless you are sure you know what you want b/c in my experience they don't know anything about bras there!
