Hey Moms! We just found out I am pregnant with our second baby, after months of trying. We used the Avent pump and all the bottles and accessories with our first, but I was wondering if there is something else or better out there that we should try. I had no complaints with the Avent but will have to buy another pump for this baby regardless so if there is something better out there, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance!
I used the Medela pump with my son. I had little complaints except the noise. It took a couple of weeks to get used to the sound. One thing I loved about the Medela is the small bottles you pump into can be put right in the fridge. I had several extra and stored right in them. Loved that. Good luck and congrats!
I am currently nursing & pumping, and I love the Medela Pump in Style. I used it with my first child and am using it again with my second. From all the research I did prior to getting a pump, the PIS is supposed to be one of -if not the -best pump out there.
And I too highly recommend the Lansinoh bags. I tried some others, but these seem the strongest.

It only takes 6 AA batteries, and I used mine everyday for 2-3 times a day for a year, and I changed batteries once!
I worked full time after both kids and used the Medela Pump in Style. I had great sucess with it, and pumped/nursed for over a year with each kiddo. My kids didn't necessarily use the bottles that go with the pump, but I really liked the Lansinoh milk storage bags because I could put them directly into the Playtex bottles as the liner.
