So i am so tired of bras! I am a 32 DDD and it is not that easy to find that size and not pay a fortune. I generally shop dillards BUT they dont seem to last very long i will be lucky to get 6 months out of them bc they loose the strength to hold correctly. so my question is where else could i shop that i can go in and try them on.

Any thoughts ladies?

What can I do next?

I used to be a 34FFF and could get my bras at Fredericks of Hollywood. I had a breast reduction several years ago and now get them at Victoria's Secret.

JMS...Just My Size. didn't check their sizes, but they carry a wide range. Have you checked JCPenney's catalogs?

EDIT: one more thought, do NOT buy anything with stretch! You need firm support! No stretch on the sides, the cups, nor the straps!

My daughter is a 32 FF and has to be professionally fit..... she usually has to spend $60 for a bra.....

(I'm not sure WHERE that came from... I'm nowhere like that.... but my MIL was a good size....)

She goes to a specialty shop, rather than a chain store.

Not sure if you have Nordstrom in your area, but try them if you do. Big selection in obscure sizes. They have a big sale once or twice a year. I'm a 32 DDDD, so I know your frustration but do have luck at Nordstrom. Lane Bryant won't have your size because the band width is too small.

Have you tried Chantelle brand? They're in that awful $60/80 price range, but I've found they last longer than other brands I've tried.

Once you've found a style you like, search online for deals. Herroom.com and BraSmyth.com are a couple of sites I've found deals on in my size.

I would be really surprised in Lane Bryant had size 32 around, since it's a plus sized store. They will definitely carry DDD, but 32 around is considered petite.

I wear a 30DD, and I buy at Victoria's Secret. I have had really good luck with the quality. I am not entirely sure that they go up to DDD, but you could check. I bought a bra from Soma once and I LOVED it, but it was more pricey then VS. I know they carry your size there. I would look there, for sure. Unfortunately, I left that bra in a hotel. It was seriously the best bra I've ever had!!

How do you wash your bras and what detergent do you use? I learned at a bra party that most detergents have softeners in them that will break down the elastic. Dreft was recommended but Woolite is not. Hand wash your bras or at least use the delicate cycle. If you hang your bras, lay them over the line so that the fabric between the cups is on the line and a cup hangs down on each side. Make sure you reshape the cups when you hang it up. Otherwise, dry flat with the cups reshaped. Do not hang by the band or straps as that will cause them to stretch out of shape.

Lane Bryant all the way!! They have such an amazing selection and have awesome deals like B2G2. I have never had a better bra!!! They also have "sexy" styles which is so awesome than the typical white, nude or black, and you can get matching undies :) Plus they offer many differnt styles of bras from underwire to sports bras. Plus size for the store is compared to a size 13, that being said I also love their Jeans and tops. With my big chest I have a hard time finding jr xl tops that are long enough after my boobs eat half the shirt. Check it out, you wont be disappointed!

My daughter is a large size. She swears by Lane Bryant bras. They also have good sales.

When I want a bra to fit well and be of high quality I go to Nordstrom's. I don't know the name of the parent company. Perhaps they have a store with a different name in your area.

do you hand wash your bras or put them in a lingerie bag when you wash them? That makes a HUGE difference in the life of your bras.

I would shop on-line. I would also look around for shops - there is one in Chicago - I think it's called Lilly's - they fit you and get the right bra for you. At your size - paying $60 to $75 for a bra will be the norm - your rib cage is small and your boobs are BIG! :) so to get "lift" you need some good bras!!!

Try ebay. Have you tried Fredericks of Hollywood? I know they have TONS of sizes!!

Cacique - by the plus size store (OMG cannot think of their name...brain dead...sorry they are in the malls) I bought the one & only strapless bra that I have EVER been comfortable in, bought in 2008, wear it ALL the time & it's STILL in great shape, I have gone back since & never been happier...Also, my DH buys me sexy bras that I can wear for everyday from Fredricks, my oldest DD wears nothing but Fredricks, 38DD...both places will allow you to try on, tho' Fredricks isn't as readily easy to find in all malls...Best! Keep those girls happy! :)AH HA! Thanx to Eliza! Lane Bryant! Also, I NEVER wash in machine or dry in dryer, my bras and/or panties...
