Does anyone know of any Bradley Videos online?

I'm not going to take the course, but I'd really love to learn more about it.

What can I do next?

I'm not up with the latest info in this area.
However, it seems to me that Bradley was biggest in the '50s.
It's not likely that someone has taken any Bradley films
and converted them to videos.
Try googling Bradley. Also LaMaze.
Your public library may have some books on Bradley and LaMaze.
Also, if there's a midwife in your area, that might be a good resource.
Good luck.

If you are interested in nature childbirth you should read Dr. Sears The Birth Book. It's an oldie but a goodie. I was able to have the absolute BEST delivery experience EVER using the relaxation methods in this book!

Lamaze and Bradley are polar opposites. The breathing techniques, for one, are completely different. You are probably better off going to the library (or ebay) and finding a Bradley Method book. You need to understand the diet and your partner/husband/birth support person needs to read it with you. I both took the classes and read the book, as did my husband. I also took lamaze classes, and I can tell you , Bradley is far more useful and more in tune with what a woman endures during birth. It's the best method to use if you want to avoid epidurals, I can attest to the fact that the breathing techniques, when done correctly, reduce the pain of contractions dramatically. Conatct me here if you have any questions, I birthed three babies using this method, two of them at home.

I used this method for all 11 of my births and those in attendance could tell it would have made a huge difference for them had they used this method. I hope you can find some things when you google it but the books are good contain lots of good info. I took the class with our first one and have only freshened up with the books for the others. There are still plenty of Bradley classes around so I would think someone would have some sort of video on the net. I hope you find what you need. Feel free to send me a message if you have any specific questions about anthing.

I am a Bradley Method instructor and I can tell you that there aren't any videos that will do as much as a class. AAHCC (Bradley Method) does not have any videos out there, because they can't possibly teach all there is to know. The only true way you will get all the info is to just take the series of classes- it is SOOO worth it!! Bradleybirth.org has a list of the instructors in your area, many of whom will probably be willing to work with you on the price as the are so passionate about getting the information out to anyone who is interested in having it. If you really cannot take the class, at least read the book "Husband Coached Childbirth", by Dr. Robert Bradley and look at blueribbonbabies.org- Dr. Brewers nutrition website. Good luck!
