BPA Free Sippy Cups - Tulsa,OK

I'm wanting to introduce a sippy cup to my daughter. I breastfeed her when we're at home, but at daycare or when there is a babysitter, she uses a bottle. But now that she's seven months old, I'd like to start her on a sippy cup at meal time. Does anyone know of any good brands? I'd like to make sure whatever we use is BPA free.

Thanks,
S.

I always use a sippy cup that is a no leak sippy cup made by gerber or the first years. I also never use the cups that have the plastic attachment to the lids to keep them from leaking. The reason why is you cant clean the plastic attachment because the holes are to small and it starts to cause build up. Therefor it is not a clean cup. Thought I would let you know from my experience. little about me..27 stay at home mom trying for number 2.. Isaiah is 2

I just bought a BPA-free Avent sippy cup the other day. I haven't tried it yet so I can't comment on it's leak-free capabilities or performance, but it has 2 handles and it has the flat spout that I think is more like a cup and so a better transition to a cup. I had previously bought a Nuby one but the spout is huge (and soft-ish, like a bottle) and bigger around than her bottle nipples, so she can't even get it in her mouth. I tried and she doesn't know what to do with it. Plus I don't think that one is BPA-free. My baby is also 7 months - so is this a good time to introduce a sippy cup I guess? I have no idea. I guess I'll try the Avent and see if she can use it.

Nuk has a new sippy cup out. I just bought it for my 6 month old last week. The spout is made of latex so its easier to adjust to from the nipple. It is BPA free. I give it to my son and he flings it around, turns it upside down and it hasn't leaked yet. Its kind of expensive ($6-7 a piece) but is worth the price. And its from NUK so its dentist recommended for their developing mouths. I bought mine at Wal-Mart. Hope this helps. Goodluck!
