Ok so for whatever reason my almost 4 year old DS decides a few nights ago to use the bathtub as the toilet...No this wasn't at bath time. It was after dinner when we were cleaning up and he said he had to go potty. Ok no big deal..Well my sister walked by the bathroom and caught the little stinker in the act. he had pulled back the shower curtain and was relieving himself in the tub...Oh boy oh boy yes he got in trouble. Of course he couldn't tell me why he did it...All he said....I dunno...and because.

Please tell me you have quirky boy stories like this and I am not alone???

What can I do next?

My mother was frustrated with my brother. His room smelled like pee all the time. She washed sheets, aired out the mattress. Scrubbed walls. Cleaned toys. She was a woman obsessed and his room still smelled like pee! Then one night she caught him. He was peeing on the radiator. Apparently he liked the way it sizzled.

Ha! We only have 1 bathroom. There are times when the toilet, tub, and the tree outside are all in "use". Many another time when "tandem" peeing is happening in the toilet.

I have to admit... I've always been jealous that I can't write my name in the snow.

Oh. The bedroom window. (Grrr. Talk about a pain to put a stop to). It started on xmas eve one year. "But santa won't come if I go downstairs!!!". Kiddo... ONE day a year I can live with (there's no screen). The rest of the time, march your bum down those stairs and use the bathroom!

I always check on my boys right before I go to bed to make sure they're cozy and well. My younger son (5) sleeps up on a loft bed. This particular night I noticed that his pj bottoms were half off with his little tush exposed... next I realized that the side rail was wet... then followed the trail out to the dresser against the wall. Apparently he had been too sleepy to climb out of bed, but was able to pull his pants down far enough, and peed off the side of his loft bed across the room!
A not-so-funny story is that I have occasionally found poopy toilet paper in the trash can :\ He says he is afraid he will clog the toilet. Gross.

Last weekend, I noticed in the morning that my six-year-old son had changed his clothes. I asked him why he changed into a different pair of pajamas. He said "Because I peed on my pants."

Confused, I asked "Did you pee in your bed?"
"No, I peed in my pants."
"Where were you when you peed in your pants?"
"In the bathroom."
"How did you pee in your pants when you were already in the bathroom?"
"Because I wanted to brush my teeth first, and I didn't make it to the toilet in time."

And of course, he managed to pee not only in his pants, but on his socks, on the stool, and all over the bathroom floor--in a really small bathroom. The toilet was right there! *sigh* At least he did clean up as much of it as he could, without me asking him. So that's a positive sign...right? :-)

My 6 yo peed on the corner of the school because he had to go and they said wait. He was suspended.
He also peed on the bench at swim practice just because. For that one he was spanked.
So yes boys will be boys.

My little brother fell asleep in the grocery store one day. When we got back to our station wagon, my mom picked him up and put him in the car...he thought he was in a bathroom and he turned around and peed all over the seat, as if it were a toilet.

Same brother used to sleep walk. One night my mom was in the basement doing laundry and she heard footsteps. She thought it was my dad and called up to him but got no reply. So she goes up and sees the back door open. Goes out and my little brother is standing on the patio, peeing all over my dad's tomato plants. (We didn't eat that crop)

My son has just recently started the random peeing. I found some in guest bathroom's shower, and in his empty laundry basket.

He also loves to have "pee parties" any time he sees my hubby going into the bathroom. He stops whatever he is doing and rushes in there to make his contribution to the pot.

I remember my mom asking me to wake my baby brother up from a nap one time. He was about 4. He got up, walked over to his dresser, pulled out the bottom drawer, and peed. WHY?! Because he wasn't awake yet ;)

My girls do dumb stuff too for no reason, I don't think it's just a boy thing ;)

Like the time my eldest child colored on the wall in glitter marker, and colored her bedsheets into a pattern. Or the time the other daughter cut her own hair. Or the time the both of them covered a lamp in play doh.

Why? Because!!, that's why ;)
