Boy vs Girl via Morning Sickness?

With my first pregnancy I was so sick the whole 9 months, but with this second pregnancy I have very minimal morning sickness and I'm wondering if that means I am having a boy? Anyone else have different experiences like this? I also started taking a B complex vitamin a few months before we started trying because I read this can diminish morning sickness in pregnancy. I just can't believe that I haven't gotten unbearably sick yet! I am 8 weeks and last time my mornins sickness set in at 6 weeks.

What can I do next?

I've never had any girls but I'm pregnant with boy number 3 and have never had morning sickness. I've a few mornings of nausea with each (maybe 2 or 3 days tops) nothing more than the nausea.

This could mean your having a boy but don't buy blue paint yet. A friend of mine had this happen and has 2 boys.

I had just wicked ms with my son, like falling to 93 pounds bad. I've had a bit of nausea but zero vomiting so far this time (I'm 9 weeks), and I feel it's pretty likely this is also a boy because of the timing of intercourse to ovulation. I think your vitamin B might be a major factor. I am sure that my improved nutrition and lifestyle are why I'm doing better this time around. Here's to an easy pregnancy! :) Congrats!

I had awful "morning" sickness with my boy. It's way more complicated than which sex your baby is. But how great you are still feeling well!

My son came first and I never had any morning sickness at all; however, I was nauseous all the time with my daughter - I attributed it to more female hormones in my system. Chances are there's no correlation to the baby's sex, but I did have two very different pregnancies.

I think it is just the first baby. I have two boys and a girl. I was terribly sick with my first boy, not all all with my second, and heartburn with my daughter. Your body was just not used to being pregnant. And morning sickness is usually because your blood sugar drops too much. That's why they tell you to eat lots of small meals throughout the day to keep your levels even. I could not stand the sight or smell of foods when I was first pregant with my first child, and got in a bad habit of not eating often enough and then getting sick when I did eat.

Every pregnancy is different!
I am almost due with my 4th child and I can tell you that it doesn't matter if you had morning sickness or not. That isn't a all-tell sign of what sex the baby is. I was sicker than a dog with my son....and one of my girls...but my other girl I never felt better. Just be happy that you aren't sick and pray for a healthy baby -- boy or girl.

Hey, Abbey! I'm in the same boat as you. My daughter is 15 months and I'm nearly 5 months along with the second. The second pregnancy has been very different from the first. I don't think it has anything to do with the baby's gender though. My sister has three boys and was horribly sick (she actually lost a lot of weight with each one) for all 9 months with all three of them. You may not be as sick this time simply because it's no longer a first for your body. Your body may have figured out just how much hormone was needed and may have built up more of a tolerance for all the changes that pregnancy brings. You could still be having a boy, but I don't think your symptoms are any indication of what you're having.

Abbey,

Every pregnancy is different. I have two boys, and the first time I was super sick from about 8 weeks until 19 weeks (throwing up multiple times per day). The second time I never threw up at all, felt great the whole pregnancy. I was convinced it was going to be a girl... nope! Another boy. This time, it is a girl, and I have been sick again. SO, I say if you really want to know, you'll have to wait till that 20 week ultrasound!
