We are looking at some bedroom sets for our 6 year old and I am wondering if anyone has ever purchased furniture from Bob's Discount Furniture store? None of my friends have so I thought I'd give you all a shot. Thanks so much!

We bought a kitchen table/chairs from Bob's. Good experience overall. The price was right, and it seems like it's holding up pretty well (it's been 6 months). I'd buy from them again. No, it's not going to be the highest quality, but for the price, it's good.

I purchased a couch from Bob's for our everyday living room. It lasted a year before springs, cushions and other parts fell apart. Based on that particular experience, I wouldn't buy from Bob's again. Also, I didn't care for the sales people - mostly because they follow you around the store the entire time. I prefer stores where I'm not stalked. However, their bedroom sets may be of a higher quality than their couches. Good luck!

I have an overstuffed recliner that I bought from Bobs about 6 or 7 years ago. It's still in great shape, and I would definitely buy furniture there again.

I purchased both of my kids furniture there. It is real wood and looks very nice. It has also held up well too. I did have on small problem. My husband was the one home to receive my sons furniture. He did not inspect it thoroughly before the delivery people left. Two of the drawers do not completely close but almost. I'm sure this could have been rectified if my husband inspected it better, but I decided to live with it. I would definately go to Bob's to buy kids bedroom sets. You can't beat the price and the quality is good.

Check out Ikea before you buy at Bob's.

I have a living room set that we bought 8 years ago - it is in the living room that we do not use often, but it is in fantastic shape. I also have an entertainment center from there. I have never had any problems, great customer service, etc.

We have not purchased any bedroom furniture but did buy a mattress and a couch from them. Their sales people seemed to be knowledgeable about the products and materials and the prices were fair. We didn't care for the couch once we got it home but that was just the material (stained easily and was hard to clean). We purchased the protection plan but wasn't able to ever use it as the damage was all kid-inflicted. I would buy from them again but I wouldn't expect it to last like furniture from Cardi's or Raymour & Flannigan (highly overpriced though). Good luck!

I have ordered from them. Their furniture isn't the greatest quality but if you are buying for a kid to have for a few years it would work. We bought out couch and rocker recliner through them, It has been 5 years now and the rocker is already broken. But still usuable. The couch is fine. I run a daycer so I don't dare upgrade LOL Good luck

We bought our bedroom set from Bob's. I LOVE the mattress (Bob-o-pedic) but the actual furniture isn't the best quality. It looks great, but when you use it you can tell it is low quality. For example, we pushed the dresser closer to the wall and broke the leg off!! We called and they replaced it the next day, but that is pretty crazy!

For a kids room...definitely go with Bob's. Chances are, the kids furniture will either get ruined from typical kid wear and tear, or their tastes will change in a few years anyway. I would never buy expensive furniture for the kiddos.
